And then in addition to this one lone woman being a psycho, there are hundreds of thousands, if not many, many more blacks, in the US who are acting extremely similar over inanimate objects. And talking about how black lives matter, while only condemning the police, and ignoring what kills the majority of those black lives - which is other blacks.

you seem to see a large group of people presenting reasonable concerns over various issues and a few people making crazy comments and JION the 2 at the hip without a thought.

But when a confederate flag waving Dylan Root shoots people dead in a church with peaceful black people NO ONE's suppose to consider any connection with "hundreds of thousands" of white guys who are upset that the flag of a dead slave based nation is not respected or wanted.

And many white guys CRY Foul and whine about "fairness" because some don't want the another nation's flag waving over the state house building but have ZERO concern over cops shooting black (or poor white) people dead for little to no reason. And seem to have no real concerned about so-called "black on black crime" except to use it as an excuse to deflect from the reality of too many COPS killing people for no reason and other corrupt police activities.

White guys always asking blacks to forget the past and get over every slight in word and deed, every dead body, But they whine that they get push back when they SLAP a 100+ year old flag from a defeated Slave State on everything official and unofficial in the world. And they feel compelled to do defend the Confederacy and do civil war reenactments and still talk about hopes of succeeding from the U.S. if they don't get their way.

But hey it's all Black people fault. Or there's NOTHING wrong to speak of.
We know that whites and cops and the justice system do no wrong and are never ever racist... so that affects anyone anyway.

And other than pointing out the idiocy behind the whiners like above, or worse, those that have been getting violent about the confederate stuff - I've yet to see white people claiming oppression. The only argument I've seen in reply to everything, was common sense and the history behind it. But some seem to think they can make history disappear. Just forget 50,000 dead soldiers. Whether nice or not, it IS a part of our history, and men fought and died from both sides.

I'll point out the idiocy behind things like this woman, or folks that decide violence is the way to handle the situation.

Feel free to post videos of white people going nutso and screaming like this woman about the confederate flag, and you'll see extremely similar responses from me. Post stuff about white people getting violent over any confederate stuff, and you will see equal responses from me. But on the subject at hand, I don't see that, I don't see sarcastic claims of oppression. If you want to get angry at this being posted, and extrapolate it into entire American history in order to somehow give her a pass, whatever.

You respond as if this is one or a handful of people. Yet we are seeing crazy issues about the flag from California to New York. We've seen violence likely in every state over this. We see non-stop demands about making history disappear in one manner or another. We've seen what happens when various groups don't get their way in getting something removed quickly enough to their liking.

And if a black person should defend the flag or a memorial, because they are related to another black man that fought and died during the war, they are called uncle tom's.

Have a problem with me all you like, I simply speak the truth and facts. And your stuff is as well, on different notes and apples and oranges. There is NO NEED for a larger picture when pointing out someone's specific actions as being a fucking asshole. NOTHING that is stated, whether from history or current events, that somehow makes this even remotely ok.

On the Confederate Flag in general.
I don't care what people do with it in their private affairs.
But I DO NOT think it should be flying in official context except for historical issues.

In the same way that I don't like the idea of a MEXICAN Flag flying over, under or beside a TEXAS flag in offical state context.
( or a "rainbow flag" or "Israeli flag" etc etc)

Texas is not Mexico ANYMORE. period.
Can the Mexican flag fly at battlefields where U.S. Mexican battles were fought? SURE.
Can it fly over offical historical Mexican memorials? SURE.
Do all vestiges of Mexican influence need to be removed .. uh NO.
But Texas is NOT Mexico.
And NO state, city, town or county in the U.S. is a Confederate entity anymore.

Seems this place in conversation is hard to come by.

I'm willing to compromise on that to an extent. Yeah, I don't think shoving it in folks faces is nice either, and shouldn't be done. But historically it should be preserved. And then we have many monuments, and I don't have any issue with the majority of them. They are not there to be racist, they are there to memorialize folks from the war that killed so many.

But this thread was about this woman, and the car from the dukes of hazzard. It's a car. Always was a car. It's never been continually ever used as racism before. This is one of the most famous cars on earth - because of a famous TV show. I can understand some black folks not liking it due to the flag. But it shouldn't be made to disappear. It also is a piece of history, and still extremely famous reproductions of the car out there and in use. It's not like "white middle aged men" are out there with them and using them in parades with KKK hoods. The lure behind these cars are the famous TV show and the endless speed and jumps and other things they did with it.

With that said, I'm bowing out my friend. I already was not very nice, for how I want to post. I don't want to fight with you, seriously. I know you feel strongly about these things and I don't blame you. It's not worth me debating and potentially having an issue with a friend.

I said that there are OTHERS --ON THIS SAME ISSUE of the CONFEDERATE FLAG-- who are just as loonny.

AND if they represent the whole (of the right) as well.
