Default If a twelve year old boy and adult woman get into a fist fight, who is the aggressor?

Any ideas on this topic? Is it more of an outrage for the 12 year old boy to hit a woman or for the adult woman to hit a 12 year old boy?

    yep,
but in general, the physical aggressor has a high bar to leap to justify any violence.

Depends again - Is the 12y.o a gang member asshole? Is the adult woman mentally disabled? Does the violence serve a noble purpose? Is the aggressor 'wrong' even? Hrm...Yes, I can over-think things at times

Let's us suppose it's two siblings. The adult women slaps the 12 yr old boy for convincing their mother to buy an expensive gift instead of giving the adult woman rent money. They boy punches her in retaliation and a fight breaks out. It's in where the boy lives and the adult woman is a visitor.

They both sound like dirt bags and not worth thinking about.

Speaking in general terms, the relevant question is not always who is the aggressor.
