And this is a dead serious question.
Now there's no turning back and it's obvious that all statues in reference to the confederate war will eventually come down, if not down already. This shortly after the confederate flag became almost illegal overnight, via citizenry and those who disagreed. Now folks are calling for the removal of Stone Mountain. How long before dynamite hits the face of that mountain? There's also discussion all over about other slave owners. So which is next? George Washington? He had over 300 slaves. Jefferson who had 600?
If not, why not? What makes the criteria worthy of removal of our history?
