Default not really photography - but pics of my recent trip to italy

These are cell phone pics mostly - but I LOVED Tuscany. Loved. Loved. LOVED it.

Various pics from Verona, Milan, Florence - and my new man-purse (its a satchel!) and...finally broke down and got glasses for reading.

The aforementioned "satchel" and specs. The bag is of course hand-made from italian leather. 170 Euro - not cheap...but it's wonderful.

One more pic - of the scooter ride showing more of the kinds of streets we were lead down.

@darin - my grandmother on Diana's side, she is from Lucca and still owns a home there somewhere, that's where she was born! I'm going to show her your pictures, she'll probably be thrilled!!

p.s. - WTF is on that pizza? Looks like bacon and oversized raisins! Nasty. Probably yummy tho!!
I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat…You ask, what is our policy? I say it is to wage war by land, sea, and air. War with all our might and with all the strength God has given us, and to wage war against a monstrous tyranny never surpassed in the dark and lamentable catalogue of human crime. That is our policy. You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs - Victory in spite of all terrors - Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival.

    Default While in Milan...

Did you get to see the statue of David? We stopped there on our way to Rome from Naples. There is so much History in that country, so much to see, and appreciate. We also got to see the Leaning Tower of Pisa. A terrible way to see so much, from a bus in one day. Thanks for the photo's. One funny tidbit about Italy. We had a bus driver that stopped the bus on the way back to the ship. He said he was tired, and wanted to get something to eat. Nobody liked that...but..That's Italy.

We didnt see David . And we decided against the tower due to time constraints. Best thing is - florence is about an hour and 20 minutes away.

I will go back for sure.
