Pretty small places.. you'd get cabin fever in a hurry.
That's a strange phenomena - we knew an ex-Marine back in the early 80's living in an 8x12 shack who went a bit nuts one winter. He had mice in his shack, and no mouse traps or poison or anything.
He finally had enough one day and started blasting away with his .45 at them inside that tiny area. He didn't speak without shouting for several weeks, he pretty much ruined his hearing. And got just a little more weird.
