Default Teacher at Public School Kneels in Classroom During Pledge of Allegiance

    Where does it end?

Fire her ass. And while I'm glad they were against this, the principal is WRONG in stating that it does have "educational merit". Unless of course that merit is teaching disrespect & dishonor.

Teacher at Public School Kneels in Classroom During Pledge of Allegiance

    Liberalism is a mental disorder.

A substitute teacher at a Littleton public school in Littleton, MA knelt during the Pledge of Allegiance on Thursday in front of her students and spoke about her political views.

    CBS Boston:

Russell Street School Principal Scott Bazydlo said in a letter to parents that the unidentified substitute teacher took a knee and spoke to students about her political views.

The principal of a Littleton school said a substitute teacher had good intentions, but should not have taken a knee while her class recited the Pledge of Allegiance on Thursday.
The principal actually stood up for the teacher and said it is “imperative” to provide students with all sides of an issue to allow them to “form opinions with guidance from parents.”

In a letter to parents, Bazydlo said, “While this topic is timely and does have educational merit, it should be addressed sensitively and age-appropriately by permanent faculty and inclusive of the beliefs of all children and families. While well-intended, this conversation was not part of the classroom teacher’s plans and should not have taken place in the fashion it did,” CBS Boston reported.

The teacher had good intentions? Since when is disrespecting the American flag considered a good thing? This substitute teacher should be immediately removed. She should be teaching reading, writing and arithmetic, not giving her garbage anti-American political opinions to children.

Ash would be fired if she pulled that sh*t. Hope it didn't happen at HER school or she might be fired anyway for putting her foot up someone's ass

I don't know where the schools are getting their subs from. Honestly it's mind blowing. How a sub manages to be in the position of sexually abusing students, which has happened more than once? Some from this year:

How a sub would think it's 'a good thing' to come into a school and spout off their political views? Unreal.

While the age group (s)/he was subbing in isn't identified, I don't think in this case it really matters.

A substitute teacher is in effect, a guest of the school. Yes, they are paid, but they are not on staff. Their only duties are to carry out provided lesson plans, manage behavior through district guidelines, keep records of attendance and lunch orders. That's it.

Long term subs have different rules and expectations, but are still on very short leash, as it should be. The school has not vetted the subs beyond education and criminal background checks. If any contact with administrators at all, would be extremely limited.
