    Default San Juan mayor

I know there are running threads on Puerto Rico, but this was deserving of it's own space. This POS... well this needs to be seen to fully understand. But while being sworn into office in 2013 - when being read her oath, and they brought up the loyalty to the US constitution, she has this pissed off look, and then turns her back on the bible and the oath.

Again, this was in 2013. This has nothing to do with Trump, obviously. This woman has been un-American from the get go.

San Juan Mayor Turned Her Back When Asked to Swear an Oath to the U.S. Constitution

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz has been feuding with President Trump, who she says hasn't done enough to aid the people of her island who are suffering after two devastating hurricanes. The Trump administration says they've been doing everything possible, noting that tons (literally) of federal aid has actually been sent their way. Trump rebutted her by musing that the people of Puerto Rico want everything done for them as opposed to picking themselves up by their bootstraps. Like many of Trump's comments, this set off even more of a firestorm.

But, it turns out, Yulín Cruz was fairly biased to begin with. She wore a shirt with the word "Nasty" on it, alluding to Trump's reference to "nasty women," while appearing on Univision television. And in 2013, when she was taking her oath of office, she was asked to swear to uphold the U.S. Constitution, and she turned her back on the proceedings. She eventually did take the full oath, but you could tell she wasn't happy with that line. She literally turned her back on the U.S. Constitution...

A lot of Puerto Ricans are hostile to the US. They aren't a state because of THEM, not us. The idiots like her keep enough people convinced being the 51st state is not in their interest and akin to selling themselves into slavery. One party is completely against statehood. One - hers - is against statehood but wants close ties with the US. IOW they want their freebies but no accountability to the US. Look at this crap now. They aren't a state. What do we actually owe them?

The third party is for statehood but cannot ever get enough votes in their government to put it forth to the US gov't.

The San Juan Mayor is the P.R. version of Hillary, Waters, Pelosi, Warren, and PEE WEE HERMAN.
