Looking for a hero
It was extremely hard to watch because I knew the story and because of all the fires in my hometown in Sonoma County. Watching the fire scenes and imagining it racing through my old neighborhoods was heart wrenching.

Did the fires ever get around Monterey/Ft Ord? Lived there 3 different times as a kid. The old man was a linguist in the USAF. I kinda liked it there. Odd, all that 60s-early 70s hippy crap was going on there all three times I lived there and I never knew it

Saw the movie a few months ago.... a really good one! and yeah, brave mean doing scary, risky stuff. I am pretty familiar with the breed....
