What kind of tree? Most of the trees that grow in the Upper Midwest don't grow down here and they don't grow anywhere near as tall.

darin....on the "Pretty Tree" looks like some engraving"...I see a mans face / forehead/ nose with sunglasses (near the top)....move on down a bit...(next to the dear head) lettering engraved "Pier"...and lastly...I see an owl image engraved just below the dear head.
