I've been saying that since I first came here. Disappointed in all the years I spent in Uniform, only to now wonder what the future will be like for SIX little people who call me POP. Life for their parents hasn't gotten any easier, even with military support. Little mouths need food, a place to live, clothes, schooling, and at least a minimum of so-called health care that costs an arm-and-a-leg...for everybody while we wait for Tax cuts, and the end of Obama care.
Worst of all. I know, I won't be around long enough to make sure our Grandkids get what they have earned...as Americans.

We are heading for some rough seas, and there isn't enough Dramamine.

Don't you feel like we are in a Bizarro world? Right is wrong, wrong is right, we are hurtling towards Socialism, and we have to rely on Millenials to defend our country!

Men and women aren't sure what gender they are, Christianity is a dirty word, race trumps reason, white males are the devil.

Women act like sluts but demand to be treated like the Madonna, success and wealth are looked on as bad things, music sucks.

The English language is being destroyed, churches are closing or being converted to restaurants, men are being judged guilty on the word of one accuser with no evidence, private property is being taken for government plans, the media is so biased it's a joke.

Men wear buns and need "safe spaces" from words. Main-line denomination churches have lost their way. Fetal body parts are torn apart and sold, and very few even care.

Quite a good start

I try to reason with myself, and my wife does too! How it has to be getting old, and not staying up, or catching up with the rest of the speeding world around us.
Personally, I suspect we are so detached from the PHONY reality outside our door, and our lives...we have become just more of 'Those Old People' the milenials hate to be behind on the road...we go too slow, have older cars, and we are just in THEIR WAY all the time. Communication is lost unless we join the Electronic world of NO ACTUAL SPEAKING, or LOOKING INTO ANYONE'S EYES...out of fear, we will be accused of racism, or assault by EYE.
I know it sounds stupid...but then...the rest of the World has become STUPID, and We refuse to JOIN THEM.

......well done Abbey and agree...But...dont worry it only gives you ulcers...do something about it (like I know you have) teach your children well....Get them ready for whatever comes over that hill....

Call me old school, but the way they teach people to tote their rifles around nowadays looks kind of ridiculous to me. Walking around with it aimed in constantly is going to not only tire you out REAL quick, but limits your peripheral vision to nothing.

Carrying it butt up on a sling is as good as any method, I guess, but I really don't see the advantages over the old tried and true on the hip carry. The advantage I see to the latter is you can use the weapon with either hand, and forget that carbine BS too. I want a RIFLE in case IT needs to become something more of a weapon than a bullet launcher. Seems to me if you tried hand-to-hand with tthat carbine you'd like as not hurt yourself as anyone else.
