FBI report on black 'extremists' raises new monitoring fears

The past few decades might as well be known as attack the white christian man era. White men are to blame for everything, even by some other white men and women.

But fact is, during that time, there are folks from all persuasions involved in various wrongdoings. Look at the cops being shot by blacks, for example. But that can't be spoken about, that will just add to the wrongdoing of the white man.

FBI report on black 'extremists' raises new monitoring fears

WASHINGTON (AP) — An FBI report on the rise of black "extremists" is stirring fears of a return to practices used during the civil rights movement, when the bureau spied on activist groups without evidence they had broken any laws.

The FBI said it doesn't target specific groups, and the report is one of many its intelligence analysts produce to make law enforcement aware of what they see as emerging trends. A similar bulletin on white supremacists, for example, came out about the same time.

The 12-page report, issued in August, says "black identity extremists" are increasingly targeting law enforcement after police killings of black men, especially since the shooting of Michael Brown roiled Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014. The report describes cases in which "extremists" had "acted in retaliation for perceived past police brutality incidents." It warned that such violence was likely to continue.

Black leaders and activists were outraged after Foreign Policy revealed the existence of the report last month. The Congressional Black Caucus, in a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray, said the report "conflates black political activists with dangerous domestic terrorist organizations" and would further erode the frayed relationship between police and minority communities.

"I have never met a black extremist. I don't know what the FBI is talking about," said Chris Phillips, a filmmaker in Ferguson.

Before the Trump administration, the report might not have caused such alarm. The FBI noted it issued a similar bulletin warning of retaliatory violence by "black separatist extremists" in March 2016, when the country had a black president, Barack Obama, and black attorney general, Loretta Lynch.

I've said it many times, and I'm not afraid to say it again because the facts bear it out to be true, and that is that blacks are more prone to violence than most all other races. I really don't understand why that's such a hard fact for some to accept. If it's true then it's true, and it's true.

But what is even more perplexing is that when blacks are called out for being violent, they get mad and don't want anyone to mention that, in fact you're a racist if you point it out. It appears blacks want to be able to get away with being violent and never have anyone point it out. I think people are afraid to admit the truth because they don't want to be labeled a racist.

Well, IMO, this kind of sweeping it under the rug has to stop.

High_Plains: Truth is. Generally, from my own experience over many decades. Some Black people DO NOT want anyone who doesn't look like them to talk about racism.
Even well educated Black Americans know that the Blacks in America that make the most noise, and are loudest to deny anyone from talking honestly...also have the less educated, uncaring, dependent, victim attitudes they learned from their like minded, non-caring, undereducated, probably separated (if even married), parents who just make it by on the Skin of their Teeth...which we call GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE, FOOD STAMPS, WELFARE, and many other forms of HAND-OUTS they claim they have earned because they are Uneducated, and forced to live in poverty...at their own choosing, in order to maintain the victim status that gets them all of the luxuries they want....while other WORKING Americans end up paying for it.
Truth is, and we all know it. Democrats NEED, and WANT Black Americans to live in poverty, and be permanently dependent on Govt....in order to convince the Uneducated they need to ALWAYS vote for Democrats who tell the Uneducated how terrible Republicans are with LIES, THREATS, and SCARE TACTICS during every election cycle.

Truth is, and we all know it. The prevailing black welfare attitude has been the way it is since the Civil war. The Dems were the conservatives then, and the Republicans the liberals. Liberal promises have kept blacks waiting for a handout instead of earning what they get. Few of those promises have been kept by the left, and the few that have a long time in coming. The entire mentality from birth is that they are owed something by white people. Not all are dishonest in their beliefs, they have taught it from birth. Same as a lot of lefties.

Now one would think people would smart enough at some point to see through the bullshit, but most people refuse to give up lifetime beliefs.

I really could care less what they think about what I have to say. The facts are there for anyone to look at, and not just the "facts" tailored to suit what they want to hear. There's a reason white people don't go into black neighborhoods after dark.
