I automatically think of Steve Irwin with those things... we catch them up here when fishing for Halibut out in the ocean.

Some of them are so cute and friendly, then you have others that shoot out the spike whenever a human is within distance. I don't know if it's different species types, or if some of them are just 'learned behavior' of being with humans?

My stepdaughter and I saw a stingray while snorkeling in the Cayman Islands last fall. I got video on the GoPro. I will have to locate the clip and link to it. Pretty cool to see.
