I actually would find it easy to believe Roy Moore has done a lot of inappropriate stuff over the years, but I also find it very easy to believe that his current accusers are much more interested in politics than they are in justice.

There's no way he can prove his innocence. Could you prove yours from 1977? I have exactly a HS diploma from 1977, and a few pics of me with long hair and bell bottoms I couldn't prove nor disprove anything I did then that is not historically recorded. No one goes through life (or used to not anyway) thinking "I can't make a single mistake ever" because 40 years from now I'l be running for Congress.

Sure it has. He's Satan incarnate to lefties and NOTHING you can say or do will change their minds. Trump "worked" solely because the left thought he was a done deal the same as McLame and Romney. That's not in question. The Republicans have no choice at this point but support Moore, or lose the seat. They don't have enough time to mount another campaign starting from scratch.

What happens AFTER is what IS a question. The Republicans don't want Moore. I doubt they're going to come to his defense in any real manner. As was stated before by someone else not wearing rose-colored glasses, the Dems want the seat, and they want want Moore because Trump has backed him. They'll go after him, and they're going to use their "look what we did to our womanizers" as their theme.

The Republicans know this, but they also know if Moore loses the seat while in office, they have to hold another election where they'll get a level playing field.

I see him winning because both parties are playing their own respective games of dirty pool/politics. I don't see him holding it.
