Default Carrie Underwood & Lindsey Buckingham - Guitar

Okay, I love Carrie Underpants and Fleetwood Mac. I ran across this and my warped sense of humor kicked in. First video

Note Carrie grabs up a guitar and she does pretty good. BUT ... this is Lindsey Buckingham at Fleetwood Mac's LA concert when he was pissed at Stevie Nicks and taking out out on his guitar. I don't think Carrie could keep up ....

Fleetwood Mac was an excellent blues band when led by Peter Green. Many think Santana wrote this, no:

Peter Green was the only White blues guitarist B.B. King really respected:

Judas Priest had a hit with this Fleetwood Mac song written by Peter Green:

Lindsay Buckingham is an underrated guitarist:

Fleetwood Mac was an unheard of English blues band nobody cared about or even knew about. they were going nowhere.

Likewise Buckingham-Nicks. Mick Fleetwood heard them and asked Buckingham to play for them. He went only on the condition Nicks came along too. For his efforts (no good deed) she walked on both him and Fleetwood Mac in 82.

I guess aside from gravyboat being a class A raving lunatic, he does have good taste in music.

See... even a nut case can have a redeeming quality.

I don't know if I'd go all THAT far. You ever listened to Fleetwood Mac prior to Buckingham-Nicks? *yawn*

They had two different yet complimentary sounds. All that crazy crap Buckingham wrote for Stevie Nicks. Christine McVie wrote the poppy-type love ditties. Buckingham wrote Go Your Own Way TO Stevie Nicks. Mist of his songs was him wearing his heart on his sleeve.

Go Your Own Way is of course one of my favorites of theirs.

    Songbird is another favorite

Reminds me of someone I knew about 40 years ago.
