The film industry originated in La Brea, now known as Hollywood in the early 1000-1910s. It was begun by Jewish immigrants who opened most of the film studios that eventually were swallowed up by a handful and the major film studios still in control today. It was begun simply as entertainment, and the time was a novelty more than anything else. A lot more of "der juden" went broke investing in it than every got rich.
Rather than an attempt to take over your poor little heart and mind, they took a chance on an industry no one really cared about and a few came out on top. That is called "free enterprise" and is completely "American" rather than Jewish in theme.
