Do you ever pay attention to WHO is saying WHAT? I have said very little about Putin, and presented only facts or commented on his name being mentioned.

I couldn't be as dumb as you. Don't be a punk. Truth is, you were my enemy LONG before you were born and I know my enemy well. I make it my business to. I don't sit around talking ignorant shit out my ass.

Your downfall will be and is your arrogance. I can and will use it against you every time. In combat, it will cost you your life.

    So try again.

You're late, AT. I already had him pinpointed as a card-carrying Dem early afternoon

But he for some reason doesn't get that WE don't listen to CNN

    .... yes ....

    .. WHAT A SURPRISE !!! ..

I posted that I'd apologise for believing that the 'election' was a foregone conclusion, that it wasn't even a real or proper election, if Putin failed to win. But of course, AS WE ALL KNEW WOULD HAPPEN, PUTIN WON BY A LANDSLIDE.

So -- I hope that the Russian contributors here won't waste our time any further by trying to convince us that Russian elections are run fairly, that they are representative of a proper, working democratic system. Seventy SIX percent (as reported by the BBC) of the share of the vote won by just one candidate is off-the-chart absurd, especially with so many 'candidates' to choose from.

That's all I need say. Anything else would be stating the bleedin' obvious ... !!

    I believe you.

But tell me, how do you KNOW it'll never leave ??

Do you know that Crimean citizens will NEVER, EVER, want another, ahem, 'Referendum' ? That their 'happiness and joy' at being bound to the Motherland will NEVER wane ? That circumstances currently, ahem, giving them such joy at being part of Russia could never, ever, change ?

Here's the TRUTH, Papokarko, my son. Crimea was FORCED to be annexed to Russia. As we well know in the West, the 'Referendum' held was not free nor fair, indeed, it wasn't even legal !! BUT, it was the means by which Putin achieved his land-grab.

We chiefly know that Crimea will never leave because PUTIN HAS SAID SO. He's no clairvoyant. He's not so tuned into Crimeans as to know not only what they feel, but will always feel, for all time !!!

No. Crimea will never be PERMITTED to leave.

Your arguments are getting to be REALLY bizarre.

Crimea is illegally annexed to Russia. The time of day it happened isn't relevant, either way. Not from Russia to Ukraine. Not from Ukraine to Russia.

It's currently 2.37am, locally, as I type. Can I go out and rob money from a bank vault, NOW, because it's the middle of the night ? Or, are there laws to say it's illegal ??

Over 55 mln Russians vote for Putin in presidential election — election commission

MOSCOW, March 19. /TASS/. More than 55 mln Russians have voted for incumbent head of state Vladimir Putin in the March 18 presidential election, Russia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) said, citing preliminary data.
A total of 55,013,955 people have voted for Putin with 98.59% of the ballots counted. (9 a.m. - 76.67% and 56 mln with over 99% counted)
Putin has achieved an unprecedented result in the presidential election. In 2002, he received 52.94% of the vote as 39.74 mln people voted in his favor. In 2004, he got 71.31% of the vote (49.56 mln votes). In the 2012 election, as many as 45.6 mln people (63.6%) supported Putin.
Putin ran for president for the fourth time.

    P.S.
Even Americans and the others from the West HAVE to agree that it is IMPOSSIBLE to force such a number of people to vote for ANYBODY AGAINST THEIR WILL.
For Americans - here in RUSSIA we have the DIRECT voting where the will of EVERY PERSON is counted. On the opposite - in the USA Trump was "elected" by the MINORITY.

    we're just learning from America.
when America bombed Yugoslavia, she didn't ask anyone. when she invaded Iraq, she didn't ask anyone. we, too, decided no one not ask
