I Wonder How Big Jim is Doing Up in Alaska...
No word from him or NT lately.
I finally heard form my Harley tech buddy up in Alaska who had been MIA, he said he'd just got otta JAIL.
Winters are long and hard up there with no sun and all, takes a special kind of person to live up there. I couldn't do it. I'd go nuts.

In the summer...
I couldn't do those winters with no sun for a couple months and extreme cold.

We haven't had a bad winter here in years now, and at least we get SUN in winter. That's what would bother me about Alaska. I get bad light deprivation as is. I seriously count the days down to when the days start getting longer. Get bad cabin fever.Wussy! And from Wisconsin?

That was one of the good things about Florida, I never noticed the days got shorter at all. Don't think they do much. I still think about moving back down there.

No man, that's the extreme northern part of AK. We've got almost 12 hours of daylight right now here. And today was 40 degrees out & the snow is melting fast.
We just got back home, pulled out of the cabin this morning. I had some running around to do, so I had my lil' wifey take Jim to the airport... she should be dropping him off right now at Anchorage International for his southbound flight.
We had a great trip, but I won't steal Jim's thunder with pics & vids. I will say that you're all about to be inundated with pics & vids of a very special item that Jim acquired whilst he was here.
Jim is now aware of quite a few muscles that he hasn't used in a long time, as riding snowmachines is a full body activity and possibly as total as swimming when it comes to using every muscle you have. We put several hundred miles on and he was a trooper throughout. We'll make a Mountain Man out of him yet!

Ohhh yeah. We had King Crab 3 days in a row... I think we've all had our fill of it for a while.
And Sharon came up with a big box of Fireball Whiskey - didn't even know they made it. 3.5 liters of whup-ass and we got into that a bit.
