At Least 6 Victims In One Day Of London Stabbings

At least six people were stabbed in London, adding to the wave of recent knife attacks across the capital.
On Thrusday, Metropolitan Police said two 15-year-olds were badly injured in East London and are hospitalized in serious, but stable condition.
Reports point to a total of five separate stabbings sweeping across South London, East End as well as the West End in just a single day.
Authorities say, London’s rising murder rate is driven by an increase in knife crime involving “disenfranchised youths” and ethnic gangs from the Middle East and South Asia.
Authorities arrested at least five suspects on Thursday in connection with the stabbings.

To make the almost painfully obvious point: how many of those victims WOULDN'T have been, has gun laws been a lot laxer in the UK, maybe comparable to your own ? Have thugs go around, wishing harm ... BUT ... knowing that if they acted, they could be shot a split second later, maybe fatally ... well, how many thugs would be deterred ?

We had rioting in 2011. Shops looted. If shopkeepers had been allowed guns, this would've stopped that looting, and in fact, it'd never have started, anyway.

A society where gun carrying / possession is seen as acceptable and normal, is one where there's so much firepower parity, that violence is AVOIDED, just because of that fact.

An armed society is a polite society. I never understood liberals who decry social Darwinism and then assure the right of every 6 foot, 250 pound plus. physically fit male to dictate their will upon society by denying others the right to carry an equalizer.
