It's simpler than that. Jim said no family the last time it turned into a nutroll. From being in his shoes, it IS a pain in the ass and NEVER ends well. Some people are more sensitive than others about having their family members trashed. I believe the other point is, that family member is not here to defend him/herself.

So nobody is being judged as it is a rule that applies to all.
