    Default Steelers - Ryan Shazier

Shalieve is what I said. The term coming from other Steelers players.

He is number 50 on the Steelers. The reason for my avatar.

I was heartbroken when the man was basically paralyzed on national TV. The hit wasn't that bad, but he instantly asked for help, rolled over and you saw him go limp. It was VERY scary.

In the the hospital the man said he WOULD walk again. Not only that, he said he was coming back to play. That's courage. Well, I don't think he'll ever play again, and I actually hope he doesn't, as he's obviously very injured.

BUT, here he is at this years NFL Draft, WALKING out to announce the Steelers first pick this year. You can tell he is struggling and in pain, but he is WALKING!! As the teammates have all been saying, Shalieve works, God is great and does perform miracles.

“You know the world is going crazy when the best rapper is a white guy, the best golfer is a black guy, the tallest guy in the NBA is Chinese, the Swiss hold the America's Cup, France is accusing the U.S. of arrogance, Germany doesn't want to go to war, and the three most powerful men in America are named "Bush", "Dick", and "Colin." Need I say more?” - Chris Rock

    That is beautiful. Goosebumps
“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

People take the ability to walk for granted. Wait until you can't. Guy's got balls.
