Congressman Mark Meadows said lawmakers will issue subpoenas over the Department of Justice’s handling of its two probes.
The congressman said the subpoenaed individuals will have to testify before Congress over their role in the DOJ’s Russia probe and the Clinton email probe.
Meadows stressed the DOJ and FBI have withheld from congressional oversight the crucial information pertaining to the probes.

This comes after lawmakers found evidence that the FBI edited transcripts of witness interviews in both probes.
Meadows said the subpoenas will be issued in the forthcoming days.
“And it’s all about evidence, it’s about making sure that you get the same justice as anybody else that has big dollars or well connection, because justice should be meted out evenly, and yet we’re finding that evidence could’ve been tampered,” he stated.
Representative Meadows said he expects some of the subpoenaed officials to cooperate with lawmakers in order to shed light on the DOJ’s handling of its probes.
