No one is being muffled, you twit. The NFL wants the drama to go away. They are ON THE JOB. They are paid many millions of dollars to be on this job, and their job is to do what the owners, managers and coaches tell them to do. No one is telling them to do anything that is beneath them. They are telling them that this is the inappropriate time and place for a protest. They tell them if they don't want to participate, to stay in the locker room until the anthem is over. But some have to do it anyway, and/or raise the fist.

They have many millions. Probably into a billion if they put themselves together. Again, WHY don't they do something like Muhammed Ali did, and call a conference? They can more than afford to run endless commercials. They can go rampant on the internet. There are SO many places and ways to protest. But they demand to do the one that will offend the most Americans.

They started with discussion of oppression. Please, hide your millions while you speak this crap. Fact is, they don't like rules, they don't like being told what to do. And I hope those who continue lose entire paychecks and/or get suspended. Just stay in the damn locker room if you can't help yourself.

And this guy is an asshole for now calling out white NFL players, to more or less demand even more drama and division.

Liberal professor Michael Eric Dyson calls out white NFL players over anthem protests, tells them to get in the game

Georgetown professor Michael Eric Dyson called out white NFL players, on CNN’s “New Day” Friday, for not speaking up in protest over racial animosity in the U.S.

Dyson was discussing the one year anniversary of a “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, and said NFL players were right to take a knee during preseason games Thursday, as a show of solidarity.

“First of all black life continues to matter to [NFL players] and doesn’t seem to matter to others who continue to victimize back people with random violence and arbitrary forms of aggression,” Dyson said. “These are grown black men. They will not be dictated to and told by the president of the United States of America or a football league, a sports league, about what it means to be a responsible conscientious citizen.”

Dyson said black men are “being muffled” and asked why white athletes like Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers aren’t more vocal for the Black Lives Matter cause.

“We’re talking about the one year anniversary of white supremacists and nationalists and neo-Nazis expressing their right to protest in America and yet these black men of valor, of integrity, of courage and bravery are being muffled,” Dyson added.

“What it says to us is that all players should have a conscious around this. Not just black players. Where’s Aaron Rodgers in this whole situation,” he concluded. “Even if he doesn’t raise a fist, raise a voice and say something important. That’s what I think these protests suggest.”
