Default I Had Kind Of a Strange Night Last Night...

I woke up briefly last night twice in the middle of what seemed to be a mild panic/anxiety attack. I wasn't awake long and I fell right back asleep. I felt good when I went to bed and I feel good this morning, so I have no idea what could have brought that on. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with all the working out I've doing on the new gym, because that's made me feel fantastic so far, and I'm not going to quit.

    Are you taking new drugs?

I ask because the only time I have nightmares or whatnot in the middle of the night, it's because I'm on new drugs that the doc gave me and my body goes through it almost every time until I adjust to them.

I had a haunting at home last year that kept me awake for hours.
    Just after Mom's funeral.

Getting grabbed, struck, hit and pushed.

    AND I DO NOT HALLUCINATE.
I have lost my mind. If found, please give it a snack and return it?

    Seriously....

Go to bed, but hear music and voices from where the furnace is. Heard it during the daytime, too.

Had the feeling of a cat walking along the bed, but mine was asleep.

Get my legs and arms grabbed while trying to doze. Got shaken numerous times.

Got my head and chest hit hard several times.

    I do not hallucinate!

WOW... that all sounds like things that other people describe. I was going to say it could be a relative, even your Ma possibly, except for the hit HARD part. I don't think your Ma would do that.

Have you ever looked into the history of your house?

No new drugs. The only pills I take are a multi vitamin and a garlic capsule in the morning, and oxycodone as needed.

I remember waking up feeling like I was having a mild panic/anxiety attack, but telling myself it was nothing and falling almost instantly back to sleep, happened twice. I wonder if it has anything to do with my system cleaning out, being charged up from all the working out...

Not trying to scare you my friend--but I had a couple of those experiences you described prior to the month that I had my heart attack several years ago.
Might be wise to get your heart checked out, if you havent done so recently.

Thanks for the heads up, pard, but I used to have panic attacks years ago. Could just be them creeping back because my system is getting all charged up, IDK. But as far as my health goes, I'm required to have a check up every six months at the V.A., and my blood pressure and everything else is perfect, not to mention I've been working out now for just about a month and I feel fantastic. I'm not overweight either. I can't imagine anything being wrong with my heart, and there's no history of heart disease in my family. There's no relative on either side that I can recall ever having a heart attack. I've never had a sit down job in my life and always been very active.

Funny how people react completely differently to a major event like that... when I had my heart attack on June 30th of this year, the only warning was a mild feeling of heartburn right behind my sternum, which I completely ignored and went to sleep anyway.
