    Default Hey Tyr

Have you visited the Poets’ Corner at Westminster Abbey in London? A very high number of famous poets are interred or memorialized there, starting with the burial of Chaucer in 1400.
I think you would be inspired.

Thanks for inquiring Abbey. The answer is no, I have never visited London, but would dearly love to visit that famous site and perhaps even sit to compose a poem there. England has birthed a very high number of world famous poets and primarily those are the poets that I first started reading, studying and being inspired by. Although Poe( an American) was the first great poet I came to admire, Byron was next and then after that a whole slew came.
I have easily read several thousands of poets in my 49 years of writing, reading and studying poetry.
And yes my great friend, I would without any doubt be tremendously inspired there!-Tyr

They would probably not even me to enter the country. Especially true, if they were aware of my statements made here about their beloved pets, their cherished muzzy overlords..
Sad tis it not, that such a great nation- with such a rich history, has now imported in its slayers, its overlords and will soon be enslaved?
You my great friend, should move to America before all that happens, imho..--Tyr

Another great poet from the UK is JRR Tolkien - noted mostly for his literature,
but a good poet and songwriter as well.

I have lost my mind. If found, please give it a snack and return it?
