I once bought a brand new 1973 Dodge charger, my first car ever.
Ran like a scalded dog.. Sure wish I had it right now. Gas mileage sucked but the car was greaaaaaaat! -Tyr

A friend in college had one of those. Yeah FAST, but a skateboard had a better suspension.
The most uncomfortable car I ever rode in. Rex was rich...his Dad was in the Aluminum processing business.
He got Rex a new Corvette that was fast and rode much better than that Dodge.
I have lost my mind. If found, please give it a snack and return it?

@NightTrain how about you try this instead of the snow machines in some wide treeless area?

Pretty sure that Hellcat is a Christmas Joke, but it sure does look cool! I like the straight pipes out of the fenders there... that baby would blow your eardrums.

If they did build something like this, it would need steering and a lot more flotation - those thin runners wouldn't let it go anywhere except on super hardpacked snow and glare ice... that's a lot of weight for the surface area.

Consider that a normal snowmachine only weighs 500# these days and has a lot more surface area.

I know I'm reading way too much into this... but new snowmachine designs really light my fires, if you know what I mean...

I know zero about cars, but "797 horsepower supercharged V8" sounds like a lot of power to me.
I just don't get how that translates to runners.

    Huge power!

The runners on the sides there would support the car and slide along the ice. There would have to be tracks underneath to propel it along.

I was comparing it in my mind to a car my older brother used to street race- a 440 something or other, lol.
My brilliant mind determined that 797 was a lot more than 440.

Yeah, the old 440s were pretty awesome back in the day, but they came nowhere close to delivering over 700hp!
