The Left sold out to Muslim groups, here, a long while ago. Here, political correctness regimes demand that we adopt a mindset accepting constant deferences to outfits like the Muslim Council of Great Britain. Resist that, beyond a point ... & you're guilty of 'hatespeech', actionable in law, and 'racist' ....
What you're seeing is the increasing encroachment in American life of that very same climate. If it's not rejected, in the years ahead you'll have what we have.
I daresay this is one reason why Trump's political success is so hated by his opposition. Not only because he'd never stand for that nonsense becoming 'standard' in American life, but because the Dems have to infer that efforts to indoctrinate the American People aren't taking hold, if Americans can like having Trump as President.
So, they have to reverse all that ... demonise Trump, make him a rejected and reviled figure, if they can ... him, and, what he stands for. Once 'done', then, they can work on terraforming social values, leading to ... what you're getting a taste of, here.
The Dems, if unopposed, will tear down the fabric of American life and redefine the very meaning of what it is to be American.
