As possible as this may be ... it also implies that the Democratic Party is subject to an influence it could be separated from. As if the Dems and the Devil were divisible, that the Dems could conceivably be capable of fundamental decency.
I disagree. The Dems are what they are, because it's part of what they're all about. I'd rather not see what they get up to as excusable on any level at all.
