Default Pres. Trump Says Middle-Class Tax Cut Coming If Re-Elected And GOP Keeps Senate, Take

Possible? Who's paying for it? Someone has to.

    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 2:20 PM PST – Sat. August 24, 2019

President Trump strongly suggests he will look at a middle-class tax cut, if Republicans take back the government in 2020.

In a tweet Saturday, the president cited a New York Times headline in April, admitting his last cut benefited most American taxpayers.

He said if Republicans take back the House, and keep the Senate and presidency, one of his first acts will be a “major” middle-class tax cut.
The President also pointed out Democrats only want to raise taxes.
This comes after the president said earlier this week his administration was not looking to cut taxes, saying the country doesn’t need it right now.

You don't lose revenue on tax cuts when the unemployment rate goes down and more people are working and paying taxes and less people on welfare..Plus Trump is making many countries pay their share for their security ....and were getting money coming in from most of the countries who have been cheating us in trade...and...working hard on China and a few others right now...we will get it done... No more free rides and cheating.....!

Thank You GOD...for Donald Trump...making liberals cry and the "Never Trumpers" hate him even more....Ha!

That is the WRONG appeal to my emotions Let's see ... the most popular ideal has been pay off our parents' debts, and pay off our debt so our children have no debt. Sound about right? A debt that is NEVER paid off regardless promise.

Seems to me we could pay off the debt with as little discomfort as possible if some fiscal responsibility was applied. And I'm not picking on either side specifically because each is as guilty as the other. We just get to hand over however much they say.

I was just curious if anyone heard more about it. As is obvious, it's not a closed-end promise. I want to hear the "dark side".

I can balance a check book. Made A's in accounting. Yet I have never been able to make sense of our economy so I don't bother even pretending to know is going on.

Would you think a FICA on good rather than people would be more fair?

At one time I thought so, not so much anymore though it would benefit me. It's hits the lower economic group unduly disproportionately.

Is that based on a like standard of living for both poor and wealthy?

Lower economic groups spend less than the higher ups. It isn't like the system is designed for the little man to get ahead.

Middle and upper can control their spending, including necessities. With a budget one can buy when on sale, not when 'needed.' The less you make, the more you spend on necessities only.

Honestly... really... the DEBT, HAS to be an IRRELEVANT talking point, for EITHER party.

Tell me EITHER party gives a DAMN about it. I've said this a dozen times here... WE CAN NEVER PAY OFF THE NATIONAL DEBT... PERIOD... WE CAN'T... IT'S IMPOSSIBLE... it's TOO MUCH MONEY now.

So I know damn well they have some grand scheme already brewed up to WIPE IT CLEAN, SOMEHOW, at some point. PRESTO... WHAMO... MAGIC... IT'S GONE... START OVER... yeeeee haaaawwww.. print some more money feds, we're going on an EPIC spending spree now that we learned how to MAGICALLY WIPE OUT DEBT.

Paper money? Wipe your ass with it or use it to start a campfire. Coins? Yeah... silver or gold... why in the HELL do you think the feds want to know EVERY purchase of more than a couple bucks if you're buying GOLD? There's a plan... mark my words... they know damn well the debt is a bomb waiting to go off, but they're going to just say... OH... GEE... IT'S JUST NUMBERS... IT'S JUST PAPER THE FED PRINTED... IT'S NOT BACKED BY GOLD SINCE WE TOOK IT OFF YEARS AGO... KNOWING THIS DAY WAS COMING... LET'S JUST WIPE IT CLEAN... the NWO.

I care about my kids and grandkids, so yeah, it bothers me. I really don't give a fig about parties.

I do too, and I added a lot after you quoted... maybe read back. Might make the conversation a little more interesting... my fault.

Sounds like you folks are making an argument for the Fair Tax,a national consumption tax to replace the income tax.

The debt and deficit only mattered when a democrat was in office.
