Well, you said many years ago.......

Not that far back

I was a fan in the late 70's and thru most of the 80's. I lived in FL and nearly every Sunday night I would go to a show at the Eddie Graham Sports Stadium where Dusty Rhoads, One Man Gang, Blackjack Mulligan, and Kevin Sullivan would perform

In the late 80's the Horsemen were formed and the rest is history

Sergeant Slaughter used to live near me! He was big back in my day, with Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Iron Sheik & of course the classic Andre The Giant!

Sgt Slaughter did have a great act and one his best matches was in MSG when he took on Pat Patterson in a "Boot Camp" match.

It was a classic, and the crowd was on its feet for most of the match

One match with Snuka that I remember was on TV when Ray Stevens attacked him (along with Lou Albano) and "piledrived" him twice on the cement floor

Yes, they were the good ol'days

I am big on social welfare though and overall very pro union.
Very very anti war too. I actually am a former Marine and Republican lol. Kicked out of both parties for vehemently opposing the corruption in A-Stan and Iraq...

Welcome! I think you'll find folks pretty nice here, though few may agree with you. Quite conservative here, but we do have our differences. LOL! I'm probably one of the most different. If you like late nights, you'll often find it hard to avoid my company.
