So a Trump supporter walks in, nothing more, simply wearing a Trump 202 shirt.

Here's her honest and immediate thoughts:

They felt THREATENED - WHY?
The entire mood of the store changed. She polled them? Watched every person? Weirdo
Quickly finished and left. GOOD
The cashier was Caucasian - WHY do we need to know this?
Anxiety so bad, please relay it to the management. - as if they care?
In a confined space with a typical Trump-terrorist. - Great, add to the list, deplorable, racist, fascist and terrorists.
The checker (who was white) also had anxiety, and they held hands in their safe space. Oh please
She just checked out Trump supporter and her heart was racing with FEAR - you people make me sick, literally.
They thought about running after this man, let him know what he did to this poor woman. Oh please, I'm sure he would never ever ever wear it again and give a written apology.

Cheryl Boyles is a liberal activist and writer from Green Valley, Arizona.

In August Boyles went with her husband to a Trader Joe’s and she suffered a severe meltdown after a Trump supporter entered the store in a Trump 2020 T-shirt.

Cheryl started panicking. She said the entire mood of the store “shifted.”

Cheryl was so traumatized by the experience that she wrote the local paper to share her horrific story.

Boyles even asked their cashier to convey to the management the anxiety she and her husband experienced at “suddenly finding ourselves in a confined space with a man who looked the part of a typical Trump terrorist.”

This crazy woman suffered a major anxiety attack from a Trump T-shirt.

The Green Valley News later reported that they printed 24 letters to the editor, all destroying Cheryl’s overwrought description of a visit to Trader Joe’s in Tucson where she was reduced to, well, snowflake status. The paper received 50 letters to the editor. The good news is that not one single letter supported this local nutcase.

Hopefully Cheryl will get some medication for her severe TDS – Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Boyles is the Green Valley woman whose letter to the editor last Sunday launched an avalanche of criticism. And since this is the opinion page, I guess I can say it: She deserved every word of it.

I told her as much when we talked after Wednesday’s paper came out. We printed 24 letters to the editor, all destroying her overwrought description of a visit to Trader Joe’s in Tucson where she was reduced to, well, snowflake status by the sight of a man in a Trump 2020 T-shirt...
