Maybe it was, maybe it wasn't. But with all of Schiff's statements and antics throughout Russia, and now all the same BS with Ukraine, and all of his playing loose with the rules and the constitution.
Regardless of anything else, I have little doubt that this man has been up to a hell of a lot more than just his job he was elected for.

McCarthy: This Is a ‘Calculated Coup’ Orchestrated by Adam Schiff
On this week’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called the impeachment inquiry a “calculated coup,” and accused Adam Schiff of orchestrating it.
McCarthy said, “It is clear now more than ever this is a calculated coup, and it is being orchestrated by Adam Schiff.”
He added, “We are watching him orchestrate a takedown of a president after we just celebrated 30 years of taking down the Berlin Wall.”

Was anyone to ask me, I would say that anyone thumping their chest for an investigation like the ones Trump has been put through should be investigated themselves. If nothing else, the accusers should be at least cleaner than those they accuse.
Of course, that would be fair and equal. We wouldn't want that. Such would show the Dems are playing fast and loose with the US Constitution.
Schiff just needs to be dragged down a gravel rode tied by the ankles to a spooked horse. He has no redeeming qualities as a human being whatsoever.
