Default ISIS Takes Credit For London Bridge Attack

The Middle East & = the only way to completely eliminate these cockroaches.

ISIS Takes Credit For London Bridge Attack

ISIS has claimed responsibility for Friday's London Bridge stabbing attack that killed two people and injured three others. Amag, the jihadi organization's news agency, posted a bulletin claiming the attacker, known terrorist Usman Khan, was "responding to calls to target the nationals of Coalition countries.”

Rukmini Callimachi, a reporter with The New York Times, translated the ISIS bulletin on Twitter, noting the call to target nationals of Coalition countries was first made by former ISIS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani in 2014. Al-Adnani was killed in a U.S. airstrike in Sep. 2016. The reporter also notes the difference between an ISIS-directed attack and an ISIS-inspired attack, adding the distinction has been eroded by successful ISIS propaganda that has inspired dozens of jihadists to carry out attacks in multiple countries. Attacks inspired by ISIS include the Nice terrorist attack that killed 87 people in France and the Pulse Nightclub shooting which claimed the lives of 49 people in Orlando.

Police said Khan had previously been arrested in 2012 on terror-related charges. Khan had ties to the radical Islamic preacher Anjem Choudar in Britain. Khan was convicted as part of a group of al-Qaida-linked terrorists that planned attacks on major sites in London, including Parliament and the U.S. Embassy. Khan was secretly taped planning attacks and discussing his possible martyrdom.

Police said Khan was automatically released in Dec. 2018 with no review by a parole board. As part of his release, Khan was reportedly required to wear an electronic ankle monitor and meet other conditions to avoid returning to prison. As the Associated Press notes, "the authorities seemed quick to blame 'the system' rather than any one component."

The British government has launched so-called "de-racialization" programs in an effort to reform jihadis, but the Associated Press reports that it is still unknown whether Khan participated in any such programs. Khan carried out his Friday attack on the London Bridge while attending a program on prisoner rehabilitation.

According to Drummond, even a written confession like this won't get the BBC to call them terrorists. Just misguided souls, I guess

Default 2 Killed, 3 Injured In London Bridge Stabbing

    As Drummond keeps saying ...
    OAN Newsroom
    UPDATED 12:30 PM PT — Saturday, November 30, 2019

U.K. police confirmed the suspect in the London Bridge stabbing started his attack after attending a program aimed at rehabilitating prisoners. Friday reports stated 28-year-old Usman Khan injured three people and killed two others after he launched an attack inside Fishmongers’ Hall on Friday.
Sources revealed that Khan was attending a rehab meeting following his early release from prison. Last year, he plead guilty to participating in an Al-Qaeda inspired plot to blow up the London Stock Exchange.
Police stated there could have been more bloodshed if it was not for the immediate intervention by the public, who reportedly used a fire extinguisher and a narwhal tusk from the Fishmongers’ Hall to subdue the suspect.
“They improvised in relation to trying to take the weapons off him and stopping him harm others,” stated London Mayor Sadiq Khan. “These people ignored all the advice that they’re given, which is to run away from danger, and instead ran towards danger to make sure others were safe.”

Police said Khan acted alone and emphasized that this was an isolated incident. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack, but authorities said they do not believe the terrorist group was involved. However, additional security measures are being taken in the area to ensure resident safety.
“In the coming days, you will see more police, both armed and unarmed, patrolling our streets to help reassure those who are understandably concerned,” said Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick. “Similarly, our counter-terrorism detectives will be working around the clock.”
The White House has offered its support to the U.K., following the horrific stabbing attack. In a statement Friday, Deputy Press Secretary Judd Deere said the president has been briefed on the attack and is monitoring the situation. He added, the U.S. “strongly condemns all horrific acts of violence on innocent people” and pledged the administration’s full support.

Actually, it may be worse than that !! The claim that ISIS have tried to take responsibility for the attack isn't a news item that the BBC has reported [not yet, anyway] !! I just listened to one of their news broadcasts less than an hour ago. No mention at all of ISIS in it. It's only thanks to this thread that I'm learning of it now.

That's what comes of relying on the BBC for one's news input.

What the BBC have done, however, is to subject Boris Johnson to a hostile interview by Andrew Marr, one of their commentators / journalists. In it, Marr aggressively tried to place blame for this terrorist ever being released from custody at the door of the Conservative Government.

Johnson pointed out -- with Marr repeatedly talking over Johnson, whenever he tried to reply -- that the law mandating 'automatic early release' halfway through a terrorists' custodial sentence was passed in 2008, and was the brainchild of our then LABOUR Government. The idea was that if an inmate had exhibited the proper conduct during the first half of his incarceration, he could then be judged as fit to return to society's general population (albeit under nominal supervision). Since Khan was sentenced when that law was in effect, so it determined the course his incarceration was to take.

God help us if Corbyn wins this upcoming election, friend to terrorist causes as he's been in his past. Corbyn was one Leftie who, at the time, voted for the 'automatic early release' clause ... a fact that Boris successfully managed to convey during his interview.

By the way ... our news reports (from the BBC) haven't reported anything of offers from the US of support.

I don't really understand suicide. But slow, determined cutting of one's own throat?

There's got to be something wrong with the wiring between the ears in people who are so deluded as to think it might affect "someone else", but never moi. Politicians can think that way for now because they are relatively insulated and deluded into believing they aren't just being saved for last. The Koran doesn't say anything about sparing enablers and collaborators.

Watching Europe just stand and watch this infection spread and do nothing is as exasperating as it is watching them get a toe in the door here.

.. yes. The BBC has managed to show us this (it accompanied video of Khan's solicitor, who argued as if he was sure that Khan genuinely looked for support to de-radicalise, but hadn't received that support !!).

Why anyone needs support to be TOLD that Muslim terrorism is evil, is beyond me. This character needed (.. and looked for !!), at his age, a State 'mommy' to tell him what was right and wrong in life ??

    Ridiculous.
