Default Sessions tells Senators to 'toughen up'

I said that last month, they should bring it forward and then dismiss based on many factors, including lack of evidence.

And I see Sessions found his spine again? At least via his mouth. But he's right.

Sessions to Moderate GOP Senators Reluctant to Vote for Immediate Impeachment Acquittal: ‘Toughen Up’

Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions had advice for so-called moderate Republican senators not yet willing to vote to move ahead on the immediate acquittal of President Donald Trump in his Senate impeachment trial: “toughen up.”

Sessions, a Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate seat he occupied for two decades, told host Laura Ingraham he saw this particular impeachment as a “terrible abuse” and argued against senators giving it any real credibility.

“I do think for the Republicans — it is time for them to toughen up,” he said. “There is not an impeachment case here. This is a terrible, terrible abuse of the awesome impeachment power, and the first time this has ever happened in our history. And it should not be done, and so the Republicans need to think clearly. They need to call it what it is — an abuse of the process. And you’re right — they don’t need to give it any real credibility because the evidence is not going to justify this charge, it seems to me quite clearly.”

The Alabama Republican also said he saw calling Hunter Biden, son of Democratic presidential hopeful former Vice President Joe Biden, as permittable should the Senate decide to allow to call witnesses during the proceedings.

Dummy Trump never should have nominated this guy out of the Senate to begin with.

He sounded good on paper, but then admittedly didn't amount to jack shit. And you're right, he should have stayed in the senate. That was one of the more poorer choices, and then was stuck with him.

But he is right here. And I think, but could be wrong, that they should allow for the beginning of the trial, submit the evidence and get it started - and then move for a dismissal. And I don't know who - but I believe then it would be in the hand of Roberts. But I'm afraid it wouldn't matter anyway, as he could be too afraid to intervene as such and create mayhem. But the law is the law and the right thing to do is just that.

I'm not sure at this point immediate acquittal is the right move. Been wrong before, but there's no reason in giving the Dems ANY ammo. Little green men on Mars will be able to hear the screech "Cover up!". i say go through with it and drag the Dem's collective dick through the gravel. They wanted this sh*t, let 'em eat sh*t then.

This is true - as I think it reaches acquittal no matter if it's a few days or a few months. The fact is, they simply don't have the evidence. They will do the same and talk and convert things to lies and what they think harms him, but when it's time for evidence submitted, that's where their case is seriously lacking.

I think they have been hoping and praying for a process crime to crop up while they dig. I'm surprised one hasn't, and that's nothing against Trump. I can't believe ANYONE is that clean. That would be the drawback to going through with it.

I 100% agree that they're going to twist anything they can and regardless the outcome, the Dems are going to cry foul. I figured they might be smarter than the egg they got on their faces pulling this stunt on Kavanaugh. Some dumbasses never learn

I say the same. Have witnesses. What's hilarious is we all know Trump is going to claim Executive Privelege for the same people he did during the House investigation.

So what happens is the BIdens and little Adam Schiff will have to testify and Bolton and them won't.

    Democrats will screw themselves LOL
