Nope... can't stand to listen to them. I wait to hear the highlights.

    -------------------------

EDIT: My GAWD... I went to youtube and tried to listen to some of these freaks, and I just couldn't do it.

It's no wonder the vast majority of Americans are connecting with President Trump. The way these ass clowns are talking... sheeeezuz... nut cases.

Little buttplug just rambles on and says a whole lot about NOTHING, and Pocahontas just sounds like your crazy grandmother sitting on her wheel chair all excited about nothing, and biden looks like he's got one foot in the grave, and I'll be damned, but it does look like they gave mini mike a STOOL TO STAND ON...

But yeah, they PILED ON MINI MIKE, and he stood there looking like a WHIPPED DOG... I think he's DONE.

I did. But it was hard, as Warren, whom I absolutely loathe, had her stupid hand raised every single minute that someone else was speaking, and the moderators let her talk more than anyone else.

Warren- was very aggressive and I thought a major turn-off. Yes, I’m biased against her for a long time, but really, she was awful.

Biden- not quite as befuddled as usual, but nothing special.

    Booty- sounded reasonable, actually.

Bloomberg- not much of a fighter. Looked a little lost.

Klobuchar- got attacked by Booty, and seemed completely thrown, visibly shaking. She’s toast.

Sanders- seriously, people? You would vote for this guy? It’s like a joke. A scary joke. I suppose he did ok. High point was when Bloomberg called him out for owning three houses. He got very defensive, the hypocrite.

    Bloomberg Bombs in Vegas Debut

LAS VEGAS — In this desert city built on hopes, dreams and neon lights, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg made a wild gamble to emerge from the protective bubble of his $400 million ad campaign and face five rivals for the Democratic nomination head-on in a nationally televised debate.

The high-stakes debut ended up as a bust – all under the glare of the intense media spotlight.

Bloomberg, who decided to skip the early voting primary and caucus states in favor of delegate-rich Super Tuesday, wasn’t ready for prime time. He seemed detached, unprepared, and out of touch with working-class voters. The media and financial mogul was surging before Wednesday night, but limped away from the stage having accomplished the opposite of what he set out to do.

The much-ballyhooed billionaire, touted as the savior who could rescue the Democratic Party from itself – or rather, from its insurgent socialist wing -- and take the fight to Donald Trump with an endless supply of cash, took a beating from the other candidates and the debate moderators. And the end of the night it must have seemed apparent to him that he’d brought a wallet to a knife fight. Bernie Sanders, the man Bloomberg set out to stop, emerged from the night virtually unscathed.

The pummeling started just seconds into the debate when Sen. Elizabeth Warren interrupted Sanders’ own attack on Bloomberg, going straight for the jugular.

“I’d like to talk about who we’re running against: a billionaire who calls women fat broads and horse-faced lesbians. And no, I’m not talking about Donald Trump. I’m talking about Mayor Bloomberg,” Warren said to gasps from the audience.

“Look, I’ll support whoever the Democratic nominee is,” she said. “But understand this: Democrats take a huge risk if we just substitute one arrogant billionaire for another.”

And not good feedback from their fellow democrats on the MSM.

    --

Late-Night MSNBC Blasts Dems Not Attacking Bernie; ‘Great Night for Donald Trump’

After an 11:00 p.m. Eastern hour Wednesday in which MSNBC couldn’t decide whether to feel pleased or upset with the feisty Democratic presidential debate, Thursday’s midnight Eastern hour took a turn toward concern that millionaire socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) emerged unscathed on what “was a great night for Donald Trump.”

As NewsBusters has documented, this had become not just a pattern but a narrative as some MSNBCers have warned not only about the dangers of far-left socialism, but how a Sanders candidacy would shred the Democratic Party and result in an electoral landslide for Trump.

One reoccurring character has been Real Clear Politics editor A.B. Stoddard. As fate would have it, she led the charge, first telling Lyin’ Brian Williams:

Well, I thought it was a great night for Bernie Sanders. I thought it was a great night for Donald Trump. I thought it was a terrible night for the Democrats....Tonight was the night to knock down Bernie and the Democrats didn't do it. Buttigieg tried a few minutes but not effectively enough.
Williams followed by having this amusing exchange with The Root’s Jason Johnson:

WILLIAMS: Jason, it's going to be argued capitalism didn't have a great outing tonight.

JOHNSON: You know, it’s amazing America’s biggest socialist is a millionaire.
Quips aside, Johnson opined that Sanders showed “some of his weaknesses in communicating his message which we've seen before,” such as “[h]is inability to do anything other than gaslight America about some of the behavior of his own supporters when it comes to unions and organizations that don't fall in line with what he wants.”

CNN Calls It: ‘Bloomberg Was Awful,’ ‘Titanic, Meet Iceberg,’ Fist to His Face

The first three words of CNN’s analysis after Wednesday’s Nevada Democratic presidential debate, provided by chief political analyst Gloria Borger, summed up the panel’s consensus: “Bloomberg was awful.” Whether it was comparisons to the Titanic or getting punched in the face, the criticism only got worse as the liberal panel began to mock former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg for being grossly unprepared to field the obvious questions about his record.

“Bloomberg was awful. I'm sorry. This was the moment that the DNC got criticized for, for letting Bloomberg in this debate,” Borger continued. “And sometimes he looked like somebody who was saying, you know, ‘I paid $400 million for this podium, and I can't get a chance to speak?’ And he got better as the night went on, I thought, but it wasn't a great first showing for him.”

Former Democratic candidate and businessman Andrew Yang was on hand to breakdown how he thought Bloomberg’s debate-prep team didn’t do the billionaire any favors when getting him ready (click “expand”):

ANDREW YANG: I think three things happened to Mike tonight. Number one, he just found out he'd make the debate yesterday. There were two times when I wasn't sure I was going to make the debate and my team got me together to prepare. And you're really not sure if you're preparing because you're not sure if you're going to be in the debate. So Mike, even though he was I'm sure getting coached and prepared, he's like, “I don't know if I'm going to be in this debate.” And so, I don't think he was coached hard enough.

Number two, he was clearly instructed to keep his cool no matter what. But that ended up presenting as lethargic and uninterested for a big chunk of the debate. And the third most telling thing is that if I'm his team, you know he's going to get a stop and frisk question, like a gender discrimination or mistreatment question. So, you coach him and you have him give you 60, 75-second answers over and over again until he can do it in his sleep. And the fact that he did not have those answers at his fingertips lets me know categorically he was not properly prepared for this debate.

Morning Joe on Debate: Trump 'Big Winner in Spades,' Donny's 'Absolutely Panicked'

Pity the poor liberal media. The Democrats staged a nasty debate last night, and the man who emerged the "big winner" was none other than... President Trump! So said Joe Scarborough and Donny Deutsch on today's Morning Joe.

Willie Geist said "They tore the skin" off of Michael Bloomberg. Making matters much worse, Donny divined that Bernie Sanders is "rolling" toward the nomination, yet has "no shot" at beating Trump. That left poor Donny upset, that "two-thirds of this country thinks we're going in the right direction, and you have a guy who wants to burn it down? To me, I just don't see him having any shot in a general election. And I'm panicked. I am absolutely panicked."

So how did President Trump win a debate without even needing to participate? Because, as Scarborough observed, "nobody laid a glove on him. They were too busy tearing each other to shreds."

Yes the Dems, as Russ and others have said, are a clown car. But I’m still afraid they will commit such voter fraud they will win anyway.

And if they do lose, they’ll go absolutely crazy. Rioting, etc.

So, I have a question. First I will respond to the OP's question. I did not watch the debate.

Mine: Was anything of substance said and/or learned? Reason I ask, is I can't think of anything anyone in the Democratic Party running for President that has a single thing I want to hear. Democrats make me want to run up to the sporting goods store and add further to my ammo stock.

My curiosity was is aroused because I keep hearing "looks good", or "looks bad". So when was the last debate between Presidential candidates that anyone can remember that is about substance and not presentation? Who has been President without the best presentation regardless what they were saying as long as they stuck pretty close to the Party script?

I can think of a couple of lesser qualified individuals than their opponents who won on their personality and not what they were saying. JFK, Carter, Clinton, GWB, Obama. And if it counts, Hillary lost because of hers. So did Bob Dole who was infinitely more qualified to lead the Nation than Bill Clinton.

While I won't leave out the right because it seems to be rolling more and more that way, the Dems are far more susceptible to personalities rather than substance. So aside from the same old, unconstitutional, Commie crap, did any of them have anything new or novel to say?

I don’t think they talk policy because they are so much alike, and they seem to be willing to say they support whatever the voters want. In other words, no integrity and no substance to be found.

They were vicious though, especially Warren and the mayor. Quite entertaining.

I watch because I'm fascinated with the questions asked. They show the absolute bias of the network and moderators. And, it is always comical to see the contortions the candidates go through to NOT answer the question.

Makes me remember why Trump won. He doesn't do the political verbal dance.

I don't question that anyone watches them. People who want the ground zero, "live" events as they unfold are going to do so. Or as you say, are fascinated by the verbal monkey flips and facial contortions.

I found that I get too wired up and frustrated wanting to reach through the screen and slap the taste out of some of the idiots' mouths and can't. At some point I came to the realization I don't have to put myself through that torture needlessly. I do it enough by happenstance without purposefully setting out to
