Rest of the story: Jacksonville, FL is Duval County are one and the same. The city beaches reopening is just asking for trouble. Especially when you can drive halfway to St Augustine in St John's County and just park and hit the sand. THAT is spread out. Tourists go to city beaches in FL. And the people that prey on them. Locals just find a county road with beach access. It's free (or was).
