Well, a bird's head revolver and a cardinal, birds. I recently acquired this nifty Colt 1877 'Lightning' .38 DA shootin' iron with bird's head grips, yee haw. Ain't she purty? It's called "bird's head" because of the grips, which look like a bird's head poking out of the holster. Infamous outlaw of the Old West, John Wesley Hardin, who was so mean he once shot a man for snoring, killed 47 men with one. It lacks an extractor so it's an early model, I'm not sure when it was manufactured but it was probably before the 1890s. The St. Louis Cardinals of course need no introduction, they being the best sports team in all of human history, even better than the Toledo Mudhen's.
