Default Gunny you reminded me of something...

On my turkey dogs I also like a ton of Dijon mustard, and sweet relish.

AT, my daughter likes baked beans on hers too.
Oh yeah! Get them in NYC and just ask for "cooked onions". Yummy!

Other than that, it's got to be ketchup AND mustard for me. Gotta be both.

I no longer eat hot dogs but back when-
I had chili, cheese, onions, fresh sliced jalepeno pepper and sometimes a dash of brown mustard or else Louisiana hot sauce.
I will only eat turkey dogs now, and that is if nothing else is available.
Regular hot dogs I gave up long before this health diet.
If no chili is available then baked beans will do in a pinch and cayenne pepper if there is no Louisiana hot sauce...-Tyr

    That's a lot on a dog!!

Every now and a rare again I will enjoy one with mustard and sauerkraut.

My Mom was rather odd. She liked sauerkraut or whatever - but the hot dog had to be well done. And I don't mean well done, I mean burned. And I don't mean burned, I mean black and crunchy!! Then again, this was the woman who would buy her coffee from 7-11 or Wawa and let it sit overnight to enjoy the next morning. Yek!
