I have to wonder what this year would be like if it were not an election year.

I honestly do think we get it all a lot more straight about the virus. I also see less messing with numbers. Of course the hospitals looking to profit from numbers will always be there. And then the protests and riots. How do all of them play out in a different year? I have zero doubt of outside influence, so I see it being handled differently in other years.

This year would have been horrid to begin with, it needed no help by folks taking advantage for political reasons, which now made things twice as bad.

Moaning, crying, lying , preaching doom and gloom is right in the handbook for the worthless corrupt socialist dem party in an election year-never more so , than when that year the office of President is up for grabs.
Fear works! Greatest motivator on earth-even over that of greed.
The worse it looks to be, the better for the party wanting to take away the office of President.
I say most of the doom and gloom and fear inducing predictions being made are done so as a political strategy and are based upon deceiving the basically uneducated masses. I say uneducated because seems most are these days- since the education system has been gone to hell in a hand basket, for at least about two decades now..-Tyr

Here I thought this was going to be about the month of July. Amazingly enough, we've had crap weather for about a month but come July? Like a clock, 1 July, forecast 99 and sunny.

Not me. 99 in most cases means it's hot enough to burn off the humidity. Walking around in sweat-soaked clothing, breathing air thick enough to cut with a butter knife is punishment.

Oddly enough, it never bothered me when I lived in FL, or was out in SE Asia. Perhaps it's age?
