Default Carlson Criticizes ‘Weak’ Republicans in Time of Crisis

"pushing left wing legislation because of being afraid of being criticized by Chuck Schumer"

Huh? Who gives a F what Schumer thinks? Your job is to represent your constituents and the COTUS, not the almighty Schumer.

Gunny has mentioned this. I have mentioned this. The Democrats will stick with one another through thick and thin. Lie and be proven wrong and stick together. Nothing stops their cohesiveness as they don't care, and their agenda is 24x7 and they go non-stop and all stick together even if wrong, lying, playing shenanigans and maybe even breaking laws. They don't care, and they are almost always 100% together.

And the republicans, almost never stick together. Never seem to want to work as a "team". Never work together, knowing the alternative. Make claims of investigations and don't follow through. They watch stream after stream of democrats up to no good, or breaking laws, and then do very little, if anything, about it. Don't stand behind one another to get shit done or stop the democrats.

Now that doesn't apply to every last thing, but sure does seem like every last important thing. And this is exactly why the democrats have so many folks that have been outright busted in wrongdoing or criminal activity, and nothing is done. Emboldened, just like today's protesters and lawbreakers.

FNC’s Carlson Criticizes ‘Weak’ Republicans in Time of Crisis — Accuses GOP Officials of Feeding Voters ‘Partisan Junk Food’

Tuesday, Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson opened his show with a monologue criticizing Republicans for being “weak” in this time of crisis, and with left-wing forces seizes on that opportunity.

He cited his interview with Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) from a night earlier, and his push for so-called police reform and support of the Black Lives Matter movement as an example. However, he argued if the country were to be restored to normalcy and without an onslaught of radical policies from the Democratic Party, the Republican Party would have to rise to the occasion.

“If you want to be left alone to do your job and raise your family in this country, you will need a protector,” he said. “That protector must be the Republican Party. There are no other options. But it must be a very different kind of Republican Party.”

Carlson maintained it would be up to GOP voters to force the party’s elected officials to respond accordingly, to which he said he believed that they would. He argued Republican voters should insist on three elements. First, Carlson said that Republicans should be told to would work as hard as they can to “make America fair again” in the form of a “color-blind meritocracy.” Second, he insisted Republicans had to defend the First Amendment. Third, he said it was essential to remind Republican officials their party exists to serve the interests of “ordinary people.”

The Fox News host went on to argue that instead of seeking to accomplish those goals, Republicans were feeding supporters a diet of “partisan junk food.”

“Instead of improving the lives of their voters, the party feeds them a steady diet of my mindless symbolic victories, partisan junk food designed to make them feel full even as they waste away,” Carlson said. “Who cares how many Benghazi hearings we have. We are supposed to care. Why should we? How did Peter Strzok’s text messages become more important than saving American jobs from foreign nationals who are taking them? It is lunacy. We fall for it every time.”

How could I not agree? As jimbob pointed out, I say it all the time. More importantly, it's the truth.

Anybody can say what they want but at this moment, our President is not leading this country. He's running for reelection. Antifa, BLM, the MSM and the Dems are running the country.

    Getting REAL old.

Besides, the actual Dems don't have to do anything but facilitate from behind the curtain. It's not like anyone is stepping out and stopping these revolutionaries/anarchists. They're doing what they want, which emboldens them, and they're just going to get bigger until they take over or they are destroyed.

Even though almost always wrong, and always hypocritical, and endless lies - the democrats stick together and work as a team, albeit a shitty team. The republicans, many times doing the right thing (not always), and whether a fantastic agenda, or something controversial of any sort - rarely, if ever, stick together as a team. Sometimes even with a great line-up throughout the majority of them, they can't seem to always function as a unit.

And the worst, when there are basically proven lies about the left, and hypocrisy, and wrongdoing - and then many many times proof/evidence found to show their guilt, of criminal actions or supporting or helping others involved in criminal activity. And at those times, that's when most often the republicans fail to come together as a whole to address. All kinds of promises of getting to the bottom of such things, and they rarely ever follow through (you hear me Lindsey?). And yet the left will accuse you of eating a McDonald's cheeseburger during lent, and will stay on it until an election or until it hits the SC.

And even the worst imaginable. Joe Biden. Ukraine. China. And anywhere else he got his little corrupted hands on - that was prior to his mental decrease.

He went on video in front of a crowd and happily admitted to how he threatened the Ukraine prosecutor and got rid of him. Of course at the time he neglected to mention some things about Burisma Holdings or his son. But it came out anyway, and much of it. And then we find out about China, and Hunter involved again. Hell, Hunter was on nearly 500 flights, protected by the secret service and flying around the world, making money on free travel - and from Dad's connections and who knows what else just yet. Then more names popped up that were profiting from this, starting with the honorable John Kerry.

    Spied on Trump.
    Obama knew and was involved.
Biden lied, and he was involved.
    DOJ was involved.
    The FBI played lead.
They lied and lied some more, and then omitted and information that exonerated others.... so they can continue getting warrants and their spying.
Then protected Hunter and the investigation from the other side.
    And it never stopped!

I won't continue with the endless list of Democrats and intel folks that made this happen. A LONG list, and nothing.

    ...

The president should stomp and clamp down and do the right thing and put everything down and bring back about law and order while allowing folks their freedom pf speech. But of course that is almost an instant election loss. And that's insanity to say. That the man wanting to do the right thing, protect rights, protect law and order but not abuse.... anything like that even stated in today's environment leads to being "canceled". And worse for Trump, the MSM will claim he wanted to enforce police brutality in order to step on every protesters rights and any lie they can think of.

But he should do so anyway, to an extent. But anyway...

"Antifa, BLM, the MSM and the Dems are running the country."

Amen bro, that is exactly what we are facing right now. They are all emboldened - and say get rid of the police entirely, and we as BLM or whoever will fix things socially. And antifa and BLM I see one and the same right now. And that is different and separate than simply saying certain lives matter. Folks mattering, and then the group/agency known as BLM, are 2 things entirely separate, IMO.

The same as the MSM and Dems, basically one and the same. Unapologetic, daily hypocrisy, will lie directly to your face and anything goes to get the left elected.

    ---

Now THIS---- and scarier than just some dirtbag on DP making this claim.

Antifa ain't going nowhere yet, and supported by many in fact. BLM is only massively growing at this point. Making millions and millions for the democrats. That will only continue to grow, IMO. I don't see the MSM changing anytime soon. Why would they? They KNOW it's almost another left wing party devoted to helping democrats get elected. And then come the hypocritical, lying democrats.

How old is Biden? He will be the oldest president ever elected in the USA. He's 77 years old now. Can't even handle a press conference without getting confused. Avoiding the public like a plague. Diminished mental capacity is basically a proven thing now. And he'll only get worse and then be 81 years old if facing a 2nd term. But from what I recall, he doesn't even want a 2nd term. He is proven corrupt, over many many years. Hew was still running strong on his corruption and bragging about it. He s facing a lot of controversy with his past - but likely if wins the election everything then gets hidden and forgotten. And he brings in the other criminal around the WH should he win.

And who in the world will be our next president, since it technically wouldn't be him! Some talk of Susan Rice coming back, after all the shit she did. Whoever he chooses, has a great chance of taking over, and will likely be making a lot of decisions from day one.

And who else comes into the fold, that have been proven involved in wrongdoing or even breaking laws? A ton of them, that's a guarantee. And then the squad. Rather not even think of more power for idiots.

And ALL the socialism crap they want. All their retarded demands. All the money. Reparations. Green deal. Who in the world knows what they may do, considering events of the last 8-10 years, and so many jumping on that socialism train, even after they didn't at first. Falling to the demands.

I dread thinking about the Alternative come November 4th, if the President isn't reelected. We all know how terrible this country is becoming. Why allow it to become worse by complaining about the president Running Again???

Many of these things would have happened with or without trump: Chauvin, riots , some of the scotus rulings,, covid.

But many right wingers may be thinking: how much better off am I than 4 years ago?

My complaint is with his priorities. He's got this insurrection crap on his hands, a virus and with it the economy that are NOW issues. He can run for reelection next week.

I don't see that. Four years ago, I at least thought I knew some of WTF was going on and who the Hell was in charge.

I'm not taking away any of the good Trump did, just being a realist in the here and now. I will also point out that GHWB was practically unbeatable for a rerun until 92 rolled around. He lost because of the "here and now", not the fact he won a war in Year 1-2. That's how fickle people are.

They are fickle. True enough. But the country is changing in a way righties don't like and Obama isn't even president. The landscape is changing before our eyes and the left continues to have its way. At least over the last month.

I don't know what trump can do about the insurrection. It's a states issue many would say: including the courts. Send in tanks? He's hitler. Blacks get killed in the process of stopping it? He's Chauvin.

You mention 1992. This is where a third party "law and order" candidate can jump in and say "Trump won't do anything and Biden can't". Again. Watch Hillary.

Trump has done totally what I thought he would, it’s why I didn’t vote for him.

It’s the Democrats that may well have me vote for him in November. If they hadn’t gone to worse behavior than he, I’d be writing someone in. Again.

Anyone give thought to Biden's cognitive testing he speaks of, but won't release of course? And if these observations and thoughts of others, and his decline right in front of our eyes....

What about the possibility of him being elected - and then sometime in his first term stepping down all on his own? Be VERY concerned about his VP pick and under. Biden is simply NOT fit for a long presidential term and impossible for 2. He doesn't have the capabilities within him anymore, like him or not.

So who will people be voting for if they pull for him?

And the alternative? And extremely offensive man at times, very controversial... but put that controversy into perspective. Yes, he has said far too many things he shouldn't have. Some outright offensive, while others weird but I understood. Russia, Ukraine, Covid, Riots/Protesting - none were his fault, but it's MASSIVE this year, and he is being held accountable anyway. But outside of his personality, he HAS accomplished a shitload. A lot of good for the right. And how much more would be accomplished if he had full support from his own party? How many things were bipartisan, and they struck down so as not to give him a win? How many more things without their proven obstruction from day one? If the fake investigations didn't waste non-stop time? He's sure accomplished a lot in the face of the worst competition in presidential history, IMO. Attacked from all angles from day one, and the MSM from day one. If one is honest, they see the accomplished, and more than see the damage the left did. In my opinion only.

Biden probably has dementia or alzheimers. And his running mate will be a socialist: abrams or Harris. So imagine one them as president.
