Yes, you are right. Jesse Smollet has really been punished for a serious crime. I must have forgotten.

Anyone can find anecdotal “evidence” to support any theory. Most of us know better, though.

Hey @pete311 .... Everyone knows Obama did cocaine .... does that mean all the criminals he pardoned that were convicted of selling cocaine, like

Octavio Joaquin Armenteros, aka Octavio Joaquin Armenteros-Iglesias
Offense: Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute cocaine (Middle District of Florida)
    Stephen Lee Arrington
Offense: Conspiracy to distribute cocaine; distribution of cocaine (Central District of California)
Sentence: Three years' imprisonment, three years' special parole (September 2, 1983) (as amended July 24, 1985)
were pardoned so they wouldn't rat on him? Over 330 convicts for drug convictions were pardoned.

    Get over yourself.

    Why again?

The measure, which Trump signed into law, is the most significant criminal justice reform legislation in years.

    and

The five citizens granted clemency on Wednesday were: Lenora Logan, who had already been incarcerated for nearly 20 years on drug charges; Charles Tanner, who had served 16 years for a drug offence; John Bolen, who was 13 years into a life sentence for a drug conviction; Curtis McDonald, who has been in prison since 1996 for drug trafficking and money laundering; and Rashella Reed, who served six years of a 14 year sentence for food stamp fraud.

I believe 4 out of 5 are black?

Joe "every major crime bill" Biden and Kamala Harris who used exactly those laws to incarcerate plenty of blacks.

And as SA Harris laughed about it.

I sure don't have problem with all the whites being arrested and many prosecuted on fed (hard time) charges. Hopefully many will stick.

On the other side, far few arrested at Trump's inauguration, all charges were dropped. So too with most of "peaceful protesters " caught with knives, incendiary devices, etc. If arrested, charges dropped.
