Oh no! That would be terrible! But all the tubing does is give a little extra oxygen in there. They can go without it.

Yeah, they do look a little gross when zoomed in for photos. But even though they may resemble slugs but in a shell, they are about as harmless as a slug too.Ooh, you are baaaaad!
Unless maybe you eat one maybe?
But I know a guy who ate a few of them (slugs) back in high school. Truth! On bets both times.
I wouldn't eat a snail though, too crunchy probably.

She truly is! And she has turned out to be the most well behaved dog I ever had!
Can thank NT's wifey @NT'sGirl who found the doggies for me in short time, and talked me out of what may have been a more rambunctious male and she was soon coming back to NY with me!!
