Default How Biden won the election without really trying

Yes, this is an article from CNN, but it outlines what I have been saying all along. The best way to beat Trump was to let him do all the campaigning. Dems learned in 2016 that Trump thrives on challenge and confrontation. Biden's strategy from the beginning was to do very little. He put his platform online and held a few remote rallies where he basically said the same thing. Trump held huge rallies, made a lot of bold statements and tried to goad Biden into responding. Biden refused to take the bait. The more Trump talked, the more he got into trouble. ----------------------------->https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/16/polit...sis/index.html

Biden hid in his basement because his handlers knew he would destroy himself if he spoke too much. The guy is a gaffe machine and a damn fool.
The media carried his water and the dems cheated- that explains the way the election went down.
Biden is just a stooge for the dem party and the globalists. He is reading and saying what he is told to read and say.

Oh my gosh. You really don’t get it. Biden won the election because the judiciaries in battleground states changed election laws in an unconstitutional manner, the push for mail in balloting was another, then there were cases of outright fraud.

On top of this, the judiciaries in the states and the Supreme Court would not hear any court challenges based on standing, not evidence

But hey you got what you wanted, no need to look a gift horse in the mouth.

I called it (R)ambling buffoonery losing to the (D)odderig fool but the point is Biden won because of COVID. He could have won by more and possibly carried some Democrats down ballot if he were even half a candidate; but he wasn't.

And now that you have what you wanted are you happy with his policy platform?

In addition to his buffoonry (calling Republicans Nazis) his policies will be economical failures.

Good, believe in a flat earth, too. Fact remains that battleground states changed election laws unconstitutionally. Only State Legislatures can do that per USC. But in those states the judiciary did. In some cases, the judiciary allowed ballots cast three days after the election... but like I said, your side got what it wanted, so you automatically assume it was on the level.

Four years ago, we had to put up with a two year investigation into Russian collusion. An investigation that found no evidence of collusion. Talk about a conspiracy theory!

How Biden won the election without really trying:

4 years of repeated lies, investigations & obstruction
Our media all being in the tank, censoring, not reporting, lying
covid striking and used and abused for gain & chaos & fear and all blamed on Trump
Floyd protests starting & used and abused for gain and to create chaos, supporting and lying about it & creating more fear and all blamed on Trump
Social media across the board, censoring & banning & suspending and influencing
Liberal leaders calling for confrontation & violence & non-stop obstruction

Just a few seconds of off the tip reasons how. Gotta jet for dinner or I would add much more to the list.

Yes, Trump did himself no favors many a time. But to think the basement guy who's losing his brains and didn't campaign.... that he would have won without the events above, is just insane.

Need I say more?” - Chris Rock

There are several asterisks next to Joe Biden's election, already outlined by KarlMarx above.

For the sake of the argument, I will take the election results at face value, though. How did Joe win?

Here are the main reasons he won, in descending order:
    1. The Pandemic - if not for this once-in-a-millenium pandemic timed right during the election year, Biden loses be a landslide. America's economy would be going gangbusters, incredibly low unemployment, no wars going on, everything pretty good in the USA. Trump would easily win.
    2. Mail-in Voting for the Pandemic - the mail-in voting got a lot of left-side voters to vote who wouldn't have voted (probably including dead people, non-citizens, and non-existent people).
    3. Media in the tank for Joe - Once Joe Biden had the Democratic nomination, he never got asked a tough question ever again. "How do you feel about Donald Trump being a scoundrel?" and "What's your favorite color, Joe?" were typical media questions he faced. And with all of Biden's stupid gaffes, the media looked the other way.
    4. Media constantly attacking Trump - The flip side of #3, but also important to Joe's election. The media not giving Trump credit for Operation Warp Speed also helped.
    5. Big Tech funding Joe - Biden had way more campaign funds than Trump. That's why I saw 10 Biden commercials for every Trump 1 commercial. Ironically, Biden is planning on increasing taxes on Big Tech. For smart guys, they are really stupid.

Three things that had absolutely no factor whatsoever in Biden's election are 1) Joe Biden's platform, 2) his record as a Senator, and 3) his record as a Vice President.
His platform consisted of just one statement "I will stop the virus", with no details on how he would do better than Trump.
His record after 36 years in the Senate is virtually zero - can you think of any important bill he was a part of? (Grandstanding during the Clarence Thomas hearings doesn't count)
And his record as a Vice President is also virtually zero. (Killing the investigation of Hunter Biden in the Ukraine doesn't count, and neither does getting millions out of China). He just got along with Obama. That's it.

Trump knew how dangerous the Pandemic was in early February. If he had listened to his medical advisors instead of trying to make his own decisions, Trump could have greatly mitigated the effects. As opposed to praising China early, playing down the dangers of the virus, refusing to mandate masks and social distancing and informing Americans about the virus and how it spread.

Americans have been voting by mail for 30 years or so. Covid-19 made a lot of people wary of being out in large groups. Dems encouraged people to vote by mail. Trump could have done the same thing. Especially since he has always voted by mail. Blue and Red states alike investigated voter fraud in the general election and found none. The only entities that found evidence of voter fraud were conspiracy theory site.

Why did the mainstream media favor Biden? Perhaps because Trump declared war on the media during his 2016 campaign and never let up. A politician who spends four years telling everyone that "the media is the enemy of the people" is not going to get any favors.

Trump spent four years attacking the media on Twitter and other platforms. Not to mention putting his foot in his mouth every day. What did "warp speed" accomplish? The first effective virus was developed in the German lab. The second was in an American lab that had been working on it since the beginning of the year, with no help from the federal government. The Covid-19 vaccine was developed by scientists and researchers, not by an egotistical politician.

Actually, Trump raised more money than Biden. In the reporting period that ended Nov. 23, Trump had raised just short of $2 billion. Biden raised $1.7 billion. Of those totals, Trump spent $1.9 billion to $1.68 billion for Biden. The two candidates were virtually even in big money donations.

So, you agree it's OK for media to blacklist the president because their feelings were hurt? Instead of reporting facts.

Absentee ballots are mailed to people specifically asking for them. Easier to quell fraud. Mass mailing ballots is easily used for fraudulent votes.

I'm pretty sure Biden called Trump a xenophobe when he shut down travel from China. So tell me how much longer Biden would have waited before shutting things down.

Biden had media collude to shut down negative stories about Hunter.
@gabosaurus ... what is it you really like about Biden? People on this forum have gone overboard about why they supported Trump. Instead of attacking Trump tell us why you support Biden.

You forgot about social media interfering with communicating the Hunter Biden scandal. If you study rigged elections, it is generally done by mal-informed voters with a meticulous vote count. It is only necessary to corrupt the vote count when restricting information doesn't get the desired result.

The big thing is that Trump shut down inbound travel from China early on, and Biden called him xenophobic for doing so. Apart from that, Biden never had any other pandemic ideas, except that he himself would wear a mask. Shutting down businesses is not something to do at the federal level, and Biden has not suggested it. You can say "Trump treated it lightly" but that doesn't mean anything. Trump got multiple vaccines approved in record time. If Biden had been President, we would still be two years away from an approved vaccine.

Are you talking about the state of Oregon, or absentee voting? Other than that, we have not been voting by mail. The rest of the states cobbled together vote by mail systems on the fly. The big thing is that they mailed out ballots in a shotgun approach. People that had died, moved away, or were ineligible had ballots mailed to their last address. Anyone could have voted with those ballots. The fact that Dems pushed to not verify signatures indicates they wanted mail-in ballots to be abused.

Trump spent four years attacking the media on Twitter and other platforms. Not to mention putting his foot in his mouth every day.
The mainstream media favored Biden because he was the Dem nominee, and they always are in the tank for the Dem party. Always. Trump didn't declare war on the media, he just responded to the war they declared on him. And you shouldn't mention a candidate "putting his foot in his mouth every day" when your candidate is Joe Biden.

Warp Speed funded the Moderna, AstraZeneca, and Johnson&Johnson vaccine efforts, and it streamline processes and cleared red tape for all the vaccines. Pfizer, the "first" vaccine, was not funded by Warp Speed but it benefited greatly in the US from the streamlining and cleared red tape. Biden wouldn't have done that. No one is expecting the US President to develop a vaccine in his spare time, but they are expecting him to create policy that helps the people in the labs.

Biden had way more money that Trump:
