After reading that story I am glad you are ok considering.
Your accident reminded me of my motorcycle wreck back in 1976,
I had a sprained back, sprained left foot, a couple cuts, a badly bruised hip and my first thought was--
damn -how is my bike? It was 2AM and then suddenly I wake up in the hospital emergency room 30 miles away!
My first thought-damn this is going to cost me!
And it did financially but more so in the long healing process. I was 22 back then- can not imagine how much worse
that would have been if I had been in my fifties! Certainly true, the older we get the harder it is to recover from-"accidents".
Those things we guys used to shrug off in our youth,(back when we thought we were ten feet tall and bulletproof)...
I was on crutches for about 7/8 weeks. Man, did that ever suck!! As life goes, one lives and one learns-- being a daredevil in youth has its consequences.
Sad to hear about your wife and her surgery.
My friend, I pray you both heal quickly and are blessed abundantly. --Tyr
