Anyone else collect coins?

Of course I collect anything with Steelers on it, unless it's made for kids or otherwise lame. Too embarrassed to admit how much I likely spent in 35 or so years.

And I do or have collected some coins over time. Not a ton invested and no 'great' coins of really any value.

Until these beauties!! They said these coins were collectors items! So it's an investment, you see. And they are limiting the amount of them that they make and sell, probably only like 60 million or so.

Actually, these will be saved and used at the register if I see or know somehow it's a liberal. Then I'll accidentally drop it on the counter, making clear how awesome it is before I pop it back in my pocket.

Just make sure they are silver. Sterling (0.925) is good, 999 fine is even better.

Nah, these are just copper coins in cases, worth about pretty much nothing.

But I do have quite a few square pieces of fine silver and gold squares. Here's one handy that may be a tad less than an ounce now that I drilled a hole into it to make a necklace.
