House Will Vote on Whether to Make Washington D.C. a State Tuesday

I have an idea... all Republican Senators don’t show up to vote Tuesday. They should all go to a ballgame instead or maybe just sleep in for the day.

Why? Because, unless there is a majority of Senators present, which constitutes a quorum, the Senate cannot do business

Article I Section 5

5.1 Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business;

My first thought is that it would be insane of them to do so! But this would deserve it IMO. They are the ones playing dirty & loose with the facts, it would be appropriate IMO to not allow for them a vote on it.
