Default Cuba is ideal for Aspies and Auties to learn about unwritten rules and their value

One can EXIST in Cuba by following the written rules in Cuba. I said EXIST, not LIVE. You get enough beans and rice and a few eggs to not go hungry. You might be able to afford perhaps three changes of clothes. You will likely get a PASSABLE place to sleep. I said passable, not good. Doing better than that requires a certain level of sneakiness, but not enough to get arrested. To one level or another, doing something, but not too much illegal is the norm. Trafficking in goods "stolen" from the state, selling copies of pirated entertainment, running illegal taxis, etc. are done by most people. Learning the concept of "illegal, but not too illegal" with the necessity and improvement in standard of living teaches and illustrates the benefit and application of unwritten rules.

Just like corruption and bribes in most countries is the "unwritten rule".
If the freedom of speech is taken away
then dumb and silent we may be led,
    like sheep to the slaughter.
