Default Number of ‘Fleebagger’ Texas Democrats with Coronavirus Climbs to Five

    Karma continues.

I cracked up seeing the name they gave them, likely done so due to them labeling the tea party supporters as 'teabaggers'. And while this name is much more deserved, a tit for tat is part of the problem in government. Plenty enough to condemn these jackasses over that no naming is needed.

    ---

Number of ‘Fleebagger’ Texas Democrats with Coronavirus Climbs to Five

Five members of a group of Democrats from the Texas House of Representatives who fled to Washington, DC, to deny the chamber a quorum to pass Republican-sponsored voting laws last week have now reportedly contracted coronavirus.

The group of “fleebaggers,” as they are pejoratively known, which was celebrated by the establishment D. C. media and welcomed by Vice President Kamala Harris, also traveled on a private chartered jet, posing maskless with a case of beer.

As of Saturday, three members of the delegation had tested positive for coronavirus; all had been “fully vaccinated.” Two more tested positive, the Texas Tribune reported:

Five Democratic members of the Texas House of Representatives who traveled to Washington D.C. last week have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to the Texas House Democratic Caucus.

The five lawmakers are among House Democrats who fled to Washington, D.C., to stave off GOP priority voting bills during the special legislative session. The members who tested positive all have been fully vaccinated, which helps protect against severe illness. All of the lawmakers are showing no symptoms or only mild symptoms.

A small percentage of vaccine breakthrough cases, in which a fully vaccinated person tests positive for the coronavirus, have been expected, according to the CDC, but they are rare and do not discount the effectiveness of COVID-19 vaccines.

In a statement on Saturday, [Republican] House Speaker Dade Phelan wrote on Twitter that he extended his “prayers for safety and health” to Democratic caucus members.

makes sense. I Just read via DailyMail - in the UK 47% of new covid cases are from already-vaccinated people.
“… the greatest detractor from high performance is fear: fear that you are not prepared, fear that you are in over your head, fear that you are not worthy, and ultimately, fear of failure. If you can eliminate that fear—not through arrogance or just wishing difficulties away, but through hard work and preparation—you will put yourself in an incredibly powerful position to take on the challenges you face" - Pete Carroll.

Sixth Democrat Lawmaker Who Fled Texas Tests Positive for Chinese Coronavirus

The number of Texas Democrats who have tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus after fleeing from Texas to D.C. to avoid voting on election integrity measures has increased to six.

Dozens of Democrat members of the Texas House of Representatives fled to Washington, DC, last week, effectively denying the Republican-majority chamber a quorum to pass voting laws. Leftists lavished the Democrat lawmakers with praise, describing them as “courageous public servants” who were sacrificing to “protect our democracy.” Vice President Kamala Harris even likened them to forefathers who fought and died for the right to vote.

On Saturday, the Texas House Democratic Caucus leadership affirmed three unnamed members who fled the state tested positive for the coronavirus despite being fully vaccinated. That has now increased to six. That member is now self-isolating, Cara Santucci, the spokeswoman for the Texas House Democrats, confirmed.

Texas Democrat ‘Fleebaggers’ Will No Longer Release Daily Coronavirus Case Count as Number Rises

Democrats will no longer release a daily count of the number of coronavirus cases among the Democrat Texas state lawmakers who last week shirked their legislative duties and fled to Washington, DC, to avoid acting on voting laws, a spokeswoman for the Texas House Democrats said Monday.

The delegation will no longer offer daily transparency in regard to the number of Texas House Democrats who have tested positive for the Chinese coronavirus, according to Texas House Democrats spokeswoman Cara Santucci.

“We’re focusing on our daily testing, following and going beyond CDC guidelines, social distancing, and wearing masks as much as possible,” she said in a statement. “We’re just not going to release daily counts.”

[sarcasm] Well that's ok, at least their symptoms will be less severe and the mortality rate will be lower, lower than the fraction of less than 1% that it already is. [/sarcasm]

So we have take the shot- take a chance of either dying from the shot or some other injurious side effect --and then with the shot you can still get the virus and maybe suffer less serious symptoms..
Well, hell. lets just put one shell in the revolver -spi9n the cylinder and place it to our heads and pull the trigger.

If lucky we get to live!!
How about another choice- do not take the shot, take our chances on not ever getting infected or if we do get infected we take the chance that we do not--die!
Since the true death rate is 1 percent or less...

HMMMMM LET ME SEE WHICH ONE MAKES MORE SENSE...... """????

    UHHHH DUHHHHH..

Dems had better thank God that they have spent the last 6 decades dumbing down the masses( with their engineered liberal public education system), imho.
Otherwise they'd not exist as any kind of political force-- as they need stupid people , educated to be blinded people to vote for them , imho.
Certainly takes that for a people to vote against their own best interests..--Tyr

I could give a rat's ass if they have COVID or the shot for it. I don't want our(the State of Texas) tax dollars paying for one thin dime of this dereliction of duty and I want them prosecuted for it. They chartered that plane hauled ass and I'm sure aren't staying at a Motel 6 on Texas State funds.

This is one thing for sure Abbott said I want him to carry out and that's arresting these shitheads.
