It's a bandaid to put off dealing with something his Administration is going to have to come to terms with. We, at least I, was asking the question a year and half ago: What happens when all these temp fixes expire and all that ballast rushes from one end of the ship to the other at one time?

Should have been a clue for this idiot when spoiled Americans didn't beat feet and rush employers' doors to get back to work. WHy would anyone do that if the government is giving them more money to stay home? The left is all about sustainability, but can't fathom it when it doesn't suit them. Our economy and industry doesn't function when everyone stays home.

The ruthless duck landlords' issues aside, what happens when this moratorium ends and more than a few of these people living for free who won't get a job offered because it doesn't come with executive pay just abandon the property? There are 2 sides to this. For every ruthless and heartless landlord evicting single mothers with babies, there are deadbeats that are going to run on a year plus rent.
