Pentagon Claims Kabul Airport Clear amid Reports of Taliban Beating Women and Children

Gen. Frank McKenzie, commander of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), released a statement Tuesday that said Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul has been secured and is once again open to civilian air traffic.

McKenzie warned the Taliban not to interfere with U.S. evacuation efforts and threatened to respond to any attack with “overwhelming force.” Reports nevertheless flooded in of Taliban fighters blocking access to the airport and brutalizing men, women, and children who tried to get past their checkpoints.

McKenzie said he personally evaluated the situation at the airport and is satisfied with “the work our forces are doing to efficiently operate the airfield while ensuring the safe movement of civilians and diplomats who are leaving Kabul.”

The CENTCOM chief said it was safe to resume civilian operations at the airport, with due caution, and warned Taliban leaders not to interfere:

We Told Him: Deep State Intelligence Turns on Joe Biden After Afghanistan Failure

Intelligence agencies are pushing back Wednesday against the White House narrative that the sudden fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban caught the administration off guard.

The New York Times reports intelligence sources who claimed by July their reports seriously questioned the Afghan military’s ability to resist the Taliban, even as Biden was telling reporters at the White House that it was unlikely that the government would fall.

“The likelihood there’s going to be the Taliban overrunning everything and owning the whole country is highly unlikely,” he said July 8th.

While even the intelligence agencies could not have predicted the nearly immediate collapse of the Afghanistan government, Biden failed to acknowledge growing concerns from analysts in the Summer.

A White House official pushed back against the intelligence narrative, noting Biden and his team never got a “high confidence” level warning of a complete military collapse in Afghanistan.

I think they made --"deals" with the Taliban to --let-- this happen-but not in the manner the lying Taliban executed it and are now doing.
Takes a certain kind of idiot to make deals with vermin like that and then childishly expect those vermin to hold up their end.
We see exactly that from the libs/dems over and over..
It is a form of gullibility, wishful thinking, arrogance and utter stupidity, imho..-Tyr

If the mission is to get the world to hate America this fiasco in Afghanistan is definitely helping. All those who helped us out and got a taste of freedom will fall right into the Taliban, ISIS and Alqueda hate America mindset. I'm sure the Afghan women, if they live, will never forgive us.

Taliban Threatens Joe Biden: Stay in Afghanistan Past August and Suffer ‘Consequences’

A senior Taliban spokesman told the U.K.’s Sky News on Monday that the United States and its ally Britain will face “consequences” if they seek to extend their military presence in Afghanistan to ensure the safe evacuation of their citizens.

American President Joe Biden announced this summer that he would withdraw all American troops from the country by August 31. Biden had previously announced in April that the withdrawal would end on September 11, the 20th anniversary of the jihadist attacks that prompted the Afghan War. Both dates were a significant extension of the war from the set withdrawal date under former President Donald Trump, who brokered a deal with the Taliban that would have seen a full American military exit by May 1.

The Taliban followed Biden’s extension of the war – and his choice to break the agreement Trump brokered with the jihadist organization – with a nationwide campaign to overthrow the now-former government of Afghanistan. The campaign culminated with Taliban terrorists surrounding the country’s capital, Kabul, on August 15, prompting former President Ashraf Ghani to abruptly flee the country.

Ronny Jackson: Biden’s Lack of Cognitive Fitness Is Playing out Now, ‘He’s Getting Americans Killed’

On Friday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Fox News Primetime,” Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) stated that President Joe Biden’s lack of mental fitness for the office is being “played out on the international stage right now. He’s destroying the reputation of this country. He’s getting Americans killed.”

Jackson said, “I’ve said for year-and-a-half now that this man is not cognitively fit to be our commander-in-chief. And of course, I hoped I was wrong, but I’m not. And we’re seeing it played out on the international stage right now. He’s destroying the reputation of this country. He’s getting Americans killed. There’s bloodshed over now — American blood being shed in Afghanistan again, for the first time in many, many, many months.”

He added, “You know what’s about to come back, Jesse? The orange jumpsuits are about to come back. That’s the horrific stuff that we have to look forward to. The Taliban may capture some of these people. Because we’re going to have thousands — at least hundreds of Americans that are going to be stranded over there, and then all of these interpreters. And the Taliban might capture some of the Americans and they might hold them ransom for some money. But ISIS is going to take them and they’re going to put them in these orange jumpsuits and they’re going to behead them on videos that are going to get sent all over the world. That’s what we have to look forward to. And he has destroyed our reputation with our allies. And just like you said, he has sent the wrong message to our adversaries. We are tested every single day in this Biden administration, by other — by our adversaries, and every day Joe Biden fails that test and it’s just going to keep getting worse and worse.”

Taliban Hunting Down Afghans Using U.S. Biometric Data

A report claims the Taliban is bragging about using American-built equipment to identify and hunt down Afghans who assisted the United States and other nations in the war-torn country.

Zenger News reports via the New York Post:

Nawazuddin Haqqani, one of the brigade commanders over the Al Isha unit, bragged in an interview with Zenger News that his unit is using US-made hand-held scanners to tap into a massive US-built biometric database and positively identify any person who helped the NATO allies or worked with Indian intelligence. Afghans who try to deny or minimize their role will find themselves contradicted by the detailed computer records that the US left behind in its frenzied withdrawal.

The existence of the Al Isha unit has not been previously confirmed by the Taliban; until now the Haqqani Network, a terror group aligned with the Taliban, has not admitted its role in targeting Afghans or its use of America’s vast biometric database.
The U.S. National Counterterrorism Center has referred to the Haqqani Network as “the most lethal and sophisticated insurgent group targeting US, Coalition, and Afghan forces.”

“Now that Kabul is taken, operational work has taken a back seat and we’ve turned our focus on counterintelligence,” Haqqani said in an interview with Zenger. “While most of the brigade is now resting in different madrassas [Islamic religious schools], the Al Isha group is now the principal agency handling this [biometric] data project.”

They cannot be dishonorably discharged for refusing the vaccine. They can be administratively given a general discharge.

Depends on how the CO wants to play it. When it came to anthrax, they busted the Sgt one stripe at a time for refusing to obey a lawful order, not refusing to take a shot. That "lawful" order was given by SecNav. I didn't care about the shot. I DID care I was being ordered to take it by a suit that didn't have his sleeve rolled up setting the example.
