Did the same as you back then and would gather all the friends and friends of friends and end up at the park playing some tackle football! Or baseball, basketball or even just doing jumps over the hills we would make, without any helmets of course. We never wanted to be at home and our parents rarely wanted us there!
And if I didn't go out and do something and my Dad saw me, he would just start handing out chores until I hated life.
And ya needed 2 friends with a ball, as inevitably one would get angry and take their ball and go home!
The kid that had the best ball was usually the kid with the least skilz and someone had to pick him anyway or that ball WOULD go home
